Elite QBs are paid to convert third downs, complete passes more than 15 yards down field and lead scoring drives when the other team knows you’re throwing the ball. Those are really the things that separate franchise QBs from everyone else.

Elite quarterbacks are paid to win Superbowls too.... so why do Nick Foles and Trent Dilpher have the same amount of Superbowl success as Aaron Rodgers??? Are they elite like Rodgers???

He looked like a guy with a chip on his shoulder and motivation. Need him to bring that energy for 4 quarters

Yeah but the other 58 minutes of the game showed why the playoff teams aren't scared of him

Yes, they all did. Blaming it on one person is just stupid, especially when it's overwhelmingly clear in this game that there were way more than one person involved in this close, unimpressive win.
The intent and title if this conversation is...Dak gets all the credit.

The stats will....give Dak credit. Never credit for a loss...how it works.

It's a team game until it's not. Weird stat.

Of course it didn't.

That doesn't change Dak's play though. He is more important to the outcome of games than Jonthan Hankings or LVE.
10 and 3. How bout dem Cowboys. Do you see anything yet or are they a still an 8 win team in your eyes?

Take out 2016, he’s been downright awful. If you look at 2020 for example, his QBR was worse than Andy Dalton’s with the Cowboys in the last 5 minutes.

They were totally hammering people. The Texans came ready to play- the Turpin fumble was huge. I think if we get points b2b the rout was on.
The Turpin fumble was the start of the struggle. When that happened, I said to myself “ here we go”.

Tell me what I'm missing.

Make a thread right now and tell us why us that believe Dak was horrible are wrong.

I want to see the replies.
For once, your right that Dak played bad.

Made the biggest plays when it mattered the most though.

To be fair, I just checked and Houston really only got blown out twice this season. Their MO is finding a way to lose and they did so again today.

But this entire Cowboys team needs to wake up if they want to make a postseason run. This was not a 10-3 quality effort.
