Yes I can.Can mods be posters of the year?

I don’t know about that. The way fans talk about Romo…I think he and Dak are gonna age out well. It’s already starting with Romo. Fans appreciate you when you are gone. Unless the guy after them is able to do what they can’t.A product of the game the last 15-20 yrs. Look at a list of highest rated QBs. Most are from this era.
Dak is a pretty good QB, but he’ll be mostly forgotten in 20 yrs if he doesn’t win big. Just like Romo fades away while Roger and Troy will eternally shine bright in the minds of Cowboy fans.
Guys like Cam Newton was getting hammered. Mobile guys like him and Vince Young. Statues were getting hit nothing like Aikman did. That predates even 2010. I don’t ever remember seeing guys like Tomo or Rivers getting rocked like guys in the 90s did.I would argue a few years later for NFL quarterbacks. I remember back in 2014 defenders could still absolutely hammer the quarterback and often it would be fine provided it was just after the ball was thrown but really from 2015 onwards from memory quarterbacks couldn't be touched without a flag being thrown which has made it far easier to play the position and stat pad.
I have said it many MANY times. I kow it's hard to see and remember everyone's comments. If you don't understand a quarterback's impact on the game, I can't help you.
But did the team go to 2-5 mostly because of the quarterback play?I have said it many MANY times. I kow it's hard to see and remember everyone's comments.
The QB directs the offense, reads the defense, handles the ball almost every single offensive play (often every one), distributes the ball, has to operate in the clock. He has WAY more to do with the game than any other single position.
I think it's both. It's a QBs game AND a team game. If the team goes 2-5...so does the QB.
The back and forth about it leaves one dizzy.
I didn't say that. But did the team go to 2-5 mostly because of the quarterback play?
JK
I think about 2004 personally, thats about when the league started favoring offense more (DB's cant touch a player after 5 yards) and then player safety rules followed after. From around 2010 to now you have to take all stats in basketball and football specifically with a grain of salt.
Dak gets on the short list if he can string some playoff wins together and play championship football at crunch time !1, Roger
2. Troy
End of list.
Well, yeah.Dak gets on the short list if he can string some playoff wins together and play championship football at crunch time !
Fans on message board talk about Romo because they'll talk about all things Cowboys, and in the case of young Cowboys fans, they have no real connection to Staubach or Aikman. It's not a matter of appreciating him or not, if you don't win big, you'll eventually disappear the way Danny White generally has, and White had more post season success than Dak & Romo combined.I don’t know about that. Danny White is why I’m saying this. He has not disappeared he’s talked more about now than ever. I remember hearing about him as a kid on talk radio from people like Randy Galloway and Bob Sturm.Fans on message board talk about Romo because they'll talk about all things Cowboys, and in the case of young Cowboys fans, they have no real connection to Staubach or Aikman. While I think Jethro lucked out with 2 QB’s like Romo & Dak falling into his lap which propped up less than great and sometimes average and below average teams I’ve never been sold they are as Elite in raw talent as Staubach, Meredith, Morton or Aikman .Danny White is why I’m saying this. Ironically, I’d say Aikman is the one kind of taking a hit. Him and Emmitt. Still highly regarded but seems like 10 years ago they walked on water.
The only way I can see Romo and Dak being forgotten is if whenever someone wins behind them. But right now they are leaked at as guys Jerry let down as opposed to
Guys who let Jerry down.
Romo could have still fumbled and made bone head mistakes . He propped up a much lesser team with his sandlot play but it doesn’t mean he would have risen to the top on the bigger stages making the big throws while limiting errors.Imagine Romo playing on Aikman's teams.
Now imagine Aikman playing on Romo's teams.
