Then you might want to get him some real skill position players.
Pretty sure GM Jethro's short comings are drastically impacting the salary cap.Yet another article about the Cowboys moving towards a more balance offense and running more.
Dak Prescott's shortcomings are impacting the club's coaching decisions, approach

As Dak Prescott begins year the first new year of his massive four-year, $240 million deal signed in 2024, it’s almost impossible to be at least mildly concerned with his long-term health and wellness.
Prescott’s mobility has seen a significant decline since that gruesome compound fracture suffered back in 2020 and now the Cowboys signal-caller is generally resigned to a pocket-focused role with scrambles even falling outside his area of expertise. In an era when mobility has never been more en vogue, the Cowboys find themselves moving in the opposite direction of league trends.
It's hard to envision the Cowboys running the ball more often than passing, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see something more balanced than it was under Mike McCarthy.

The fact he’s not going anywhere much like our owner fuels the hate even more coupled with the lack of more success. This place has turned into a Dak hating site. From those in charge to the posters. How embarrassing, especially since Jerry and his coaches have made it crystal clear Dak isn't going anywhere.
I think by now we pretty well know what we have in Prescott. The bigger issue IMO is can he stay healthy for an entire season.Yet another article about the Cowboys moving towards a more balance offense and running more.

Maybe Dak isn't going anywhere because he has consistently put up good stats, has averaged in the top 10 yearly graded QBs and is on the verge of breaking all franchise passing records potentially by the end of this upcoming season? That's not including he leading the Cowboys to back-to-back-to-back 12-5 seasons (2021 - 2023), along with 2nd in MVP voting in 2023 before last season's injury riddled season. The fact he’s not going anywhere much like our owner fuels the hate even more coupled with the lack of more success.
Im not sure why the fact he’s isn’t going anywhere anytime soon would garner more support or less hate from fans already disenchanted?
Unfortunately the bar with most Cowboy fans is much higher.Maybe Dak isn't going anywhere because he has consistently put up good stats, has averaged in the top 10 yearly graded QBs and is on the verge of breaking all franchise passing records potentially by the end of this upcoming season? The Cowboys greatest QB ever so far is Roger Staubach, followed by Troy Aikman. The rest depends on one's personal preference.Unfortunately the bar with most Cowboy fans is much higher.
The fact we are even mentioning back to back 12-5 seasons instead of championships or at least championship appearances speaks volumes of how far our franchise has fallen which isn’t all on Prescott.
We obviously have a better shot with him than without. But that monkey is becoming a gorilla on his back. He is a product of our dysfunctional situation. It’s not all his fault but until he has his best games on the biggest stages he will be held to a higher standard. That’s life with the Dallas Cowboys.
And much like Danny White, Craig Morton and Don Merideth and your favorite ( lol) Tony Romo their careers will be tarnished without having more success in playoffs.
It is what it is. My favorite of all of these was Meredith. But he had blunders in championship games which cost us too. Would we have made it without him. Probably not. But that’s life at QB.
And yes it takes a greater team around them which we haven’t had this era either. And why I say he’s a product of Jethro Ball. Unfortunately he’s going to have to eat some of the pie too. We have had on a couple occasions much like we had with those other Cowboy Qb’s good enough teams to possibly advance further.
And longevity and passing era will undoubtedly make him all time passing leader. Does that mean he’s the Cowboys greatest passer or all time QB?
Personal preference doesn’t necessarily represent a pecking order. Instead it presents more of a personal favoritism. The Cowboys greatest QB ever so far is Roger Staubach, followed by Troy Aikman. The rest depends on one's personal preference.
