Dak, Romo, Troy and Staubach in one picture

Well with all due respect, Michael Irvin and Lawrence Taylor sniffed blow and they still managed to have HOF careers.

Maybe Quincy didn't have the right connect...... ijs
The problem with Quincy was he became more addicted to the drug than any of those cowboys of the 90s. Players like Irvin surprisingly had some control over his drug problem.

Jerry and the FO had actually known about Quincy drug addiction way before the media and fans knew, and was giving him the best help the whole time.

Quincy was just too far gone to the point he had to be let go. Irvin never got that bad, and if not for the neck injury, would have had a longer career.

Irvin passion was/is football, and not even drugs was powerful enough to break that passion. I have not seen a person a player as passionate as Irvin about football.

I remember jerry got a lot of heat for knowing for a long time about Quincy and not telling media and fans. We are talking months, and even playing thru games.
