CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
Sorry; I am going into my 50+ season, and I have never felt so pessimistic about the Cowboys. Dak seems to be a very nice guy; but in terms of winning a Super Bowl or ever getting near one, he is a loser. Not a loser as a person, but as a clutch-quarterback. Granted, the Cowboys owner is also a loser, though he'd never admit it. He is the primary reason for the embarrassing performance since 1996. I'm tired of having my heart broken, while other teams like the Patriots and the Chiefs have dominated.
Well said ......

It makes no sense for Dak to hold out because he has a high paying contract for 2024 already and if he is not signed to an extension he will become a free agent that teams will line up to sign in 2025.

Lamb was in a different situation because he had not gotten his first big contract yet nor had he made Dak-millions of money, so it made sense for him to hold out.
None.

I mean after Jerry’s yanked him around on both his contract negotiations franchising him twice, he should’ve held out like Cee Dee. But Dak’s the QB and QB’s need to show leadership so he’s been present for all OTA’s, mini-camps and training camp. He also practiced offseason with his TE’s and WR’s. He’s done everything the team could imagine and yet here’s Jerry, once again, yanking Dak’s chain. Now Jerry’s going to sign him, there’s no doubt about that, but why he values publicity over the team is unfortunate for everyone involved.
Not surprising that you don't think a man should live up to what he agreed to.
