All Dak cares about is getting that coveted extension of his everything else is a non-factor for him.
Scary thing here is that some people on this board care more about this …… i never will forget last month after we beat up on the Panthers, someone started a thread to give him 60-70 million now.

And don’t forget ole Ron who claims he is the best qb in the nfl.

Or all the weeks of QBR rankings …. why did they stop the last two weeks?

What about the good old trolling the nation threads ?

We act like our superbowl reign was this past decade… not 37 years ago.

So frustrating

If he gets that coveted extension for market value, we’re doomed to mediocrity. I wanted to believe in Dak and tried to convince myself he flipped a switch after the bye but it’s the same old same old. We can’t beat good teams on the road.

Tired of all these losses.

Like most (well nearly all) of us Cowboys fans.

But if there is one silver lining, it's that AT LEAST we're not losing by big margins. Easier to make up 3-6 pts a game instead of 14-17.
It means the team has talent and some coaching, enough to be competitive in the NFL.

Not that in itself it's not frustrating, to be SO close and just not able to get over the hump.

Just that for me I could see where Jerry Jones no longer runs the team and his replacement as gm, even if it's Stephen Jones, will do things differently enough that we can return to the promised land of SB wins. It won't take 30 new players and 10 new coaches, like the 1988 team, for instance.

Of course, it may never happen, but if I thought for a minute we'd have to suffer through more 3-14 and 1-16 seasons, I don't know I'd still be a Cowboys fan.

It's all the hope I have left, that I'll live longer than Jerry Jones....

Only thing Dak is MVP at is running his mouth and making empty promises every time he fails to win big games this time of year, loves to talk the talk but couldn’t walk the walk if his life depended on it.

Overrated loser.

He always says the right things. Thats one of the main reasons Jerry loves him.

Imagine a leader in any situation publicly saying we ain’t going to do anything
We are horrible
We don’t deserve to be anywhere
Imagine that after a difficult situation
Woo hoo - I would be so inspired (sarcasm)
GMAFB!!!!
What do you expect him to say ??
Him saying he has confidence in his team is better than not saying it
Dang some of ya all should really root somewhere else - laughable

Stop promising to beat good teams on the road and just do it.
At least he quit saying “I need to be better…I will be better”….i think someone must have finally said something to him about it

Why does General Custer comes to mind when i think of this dunce?. Oh yeah, and it was a road game at Little Big Horn too.
Some leaders lead to the demise of the entire squad. Wonder what Custer told them, "Don't worry, we got this".

Custer to his troops before Little Bighorn:

"We're in the best shape of our lives, we're pissed and we're on a mission"

You know the rest :muttley:
