Romo went 8-8 with a garbage D for 3 straight years and the know-nothings here were calling for his head.

they did post one of the worst all time....I mean worst all time defense one of those years....

Brees threw for 4952, 4870 and 5208 yards in those 3 seasons and made the Pro Bowl 2 out of 3 of those seasons. In 2012 he also went 7 and 9 and still threw for 5177 yards with 43 TD's to 19 INT's. As when Romo was here, the QB wasn't the issue with those teams.

What about the coaches? Brees is all world but I think the biggest difference is how terrible their coaches make ours look in comparison.

The Saints replace their Defensive coordinator every year.

Answer during the game with good play and stop giving ammo. Yeah as someone said we'll see the Saints pretending to pull their pants up now after every bloody TD...............smh!!!!!!!!!!!

To me this is on JG, the HC should give his player 1 thing to say if media wants a statement from them.
I would have them say something complimentary about the team were playing. Never give the other HC something to use to rally his players.
I would have said "the Saints are one of the best teams in the league right now, they have won 10 in a row, that is hard to do.
We have to play our best to compete with them".

Now in private you could say other things, but this way you give NO coaches nothing to work with, and your not even saying you
can beat them.
If you lose the statement covers you, they are the best team, and we didnt play our best.
If you win you beat one of the best.
It also would give the NO players the big head cause your telling them they are so good. they will come here expecting to win
because they are so good and that is what you want.

But if the HC doesnt give his players the statement to make they are liable to say anything, and usually the wrong thing.

Well I saw a short on him this last sunday, and they say he works harder and more than most on his team, and most other qb's.
He also has a say in the offense he runs, him and payton work together to come up with stuff that will work against the team
they are playing each week.
And he passes less, and does get it out quick.

Dak has no say in our offense, he has to do as he is told, no say in game plan, or in playbook.
No one is telling dak to get the ball out in x number of seconds lol
And if pass rush is going to get him quick he has no one short to throw to usually.
I dont think dallas even uses the hot read pass. their wr just run the route called lol.

So even though it is possible Dallas could win the game it is unlikely.

I heard that Brees holds his pants open in front of him, then jumps off the ground and lands in them. Impressive, the legend rows.

Unfortunately, I don't know a lot about Dak's work ethic. I know he worked with the WRs a lot in the offseason, I know he was at the facility all offseason working. I know he works extra with players after practice. I would love to know more about how he works but I don't have a lot of doubts that he works very hard.

Brees has been at the level of enlightenment for a while now. Dak is working toward that. Neither Wentz or Goff is at that level either and they should be the litmus that Dak is measured against.

DAK had a good work ethic early on but I dont know about now.
I am not comparing dak to brees, I am just talking about brees going all out this year, he wants to get to another SB and he is
a little obsessed with that and football as a whole.
Brees hard work has been rewarded with success on the field, so he is even more driven now.
