You think Jerry is delusional enough to think that if Dak stayed healthy that we would have had a shot at a Super Bowl ?:omg:

Dumbest thing ole Skeletor has done recently. Dak is done. He can't or won't be running anymore and that is what made him dangerous. Drop back passer???? That's not Dak. Doing that side run where he jumps off one foot to throw? That's gone. 60 million??? Also, gone. Call me CRAZY????? But I think we're going to have a top 5 pick. If a 4 or 5 star q.b. is there??? I'm taking him.....and drafting defense on every pick afterwards minus a Oline man and WR...

I dont know im thinking unless you really feel that QB is Mahomes like I would like to see them do the SF team build...at least then if a better QB is comming you can just plug him into a juggernaught team.

Unfortunately, we don't have a front office like the Niners. A front office unlike anyone minus the bottom feeding teams... Of which- we are....

I wish him a complication-less surgery and speedy recovery. I also wish he'd retire or demand a trade so he never plays for the Cowboys again.

I think Motley Crue said it best: "Girl, don't go away mad. Girl, just go away."

https://www.nfl.com/news/cowboys-qb...go-season-ending-surgery-on-injured-hamstring

"
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is scheduled to undergo surgery Wednesday on his injured hamstring and will miss the remainder of the 2024 season, owner Jerry Jones announced Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan.
Prescott suffered the injury in Week 9's loss to the Atlanta Falcons and his decision to undergo season-ending surgery comes after a meeting with a specialist on Monday.
Cooper Rush will take over the rest of the way for Dallas while Prescott rehabs for a 2025 return."

Guess this will squash the silly notion that he was faking it.
It will squash the notion of him faking it. It will REINFORCE the notion that he doesn't train properly. Professional athletes shouldn't suffer hamstring tears in Week 8 of a season. He should be well into his stretching and conditioning routine by then. I would understand if it happened in training camp. Fact is, he's pulled calves and hamstrings with regularity during his career. Signing a record $$$ contract calls for more responsibility to remain in tip top shape. No one can argue that he's in great shape to run with the football. He's not.

Whatever. He had already checked out after he got paid - he won't be missed.
Exactly

Not "celebrating" his injury but don't view it as any sort of catastrophic loss or blow to the team either.

I'm Kind of in "who gives a crap anyways" mode
