Dak upset over losing McCarthy

First of all, "Nuts and screws".....?????? OMG....now you know why I call him Dim. Of course he is upset....the guy is lazy and wants to put the remainder of his time here on cruise control....he is worried that he might have to put in a little bit of study time, and learn something new....look for him publicly to go all in on Kellen Moore before weeks end. I am 100% convinced that he would take Moore and a life of leisure, over Ben Johnson and a great shot at the "next level", because that would require him in year nine (9) to roll up his sleeves and also use his intellect....and that ain't happening folks.

It's not going to make him great, but does it mean we should demean him for something he's not doing wrong? It delegitimizes legitimate criticisms when we criticize a player for something that is not a problem.
Nine years of hard work and not winning is not good enough. Get them off the team.

I have no problem with that, but we're tied to him for at least another year so I don't see the use in complaining about it. Over the cap says that we'd save $5 million against the cap (pre-June 1) if we cut him before March 16 in 2026. But 2027 seems to be a more legitimate out because we'll likely restructure his $47.75 million base next year to create cap room. In 2027, his dead cap hit is almost $30 million lower than his cap hit, so unless we also restructure his 2026 base, we could get out and actually save cap dollars.

Maybe he should have won more games in the playoffs if he wanted to keep him so bad.

I’m not gonna stop complaining about it.

I mean he built a football field in his backyard…. All his fanboys were telling us it’s over for the league once that was done…
This season was the only season that felt like Dak didn't give it his all. It felt like he wasn't putting in as much effort this season and it showed on the field. He played distracted and when he did put in effort, he tried too hard to force things and didn't play smart.

Sadly, he's just not the kind of guy that elevates people. He's not a guy that steps up when others struggle. He's a bus driver that is paid like an elite QB. It's not his fault he's grossly overpaid. That's on Jerry, but comments like "it's for the brotherhood" about going for max money shows that $$$ was his priority over winning.

The Cowboys should not have given him another contract. They should have let him play the year out, saw how bad his age was affecting his play, and let him walk. Now we are stuck.

Think Dak was also upset over losing Jason Garrett too,... Cry me a river, rub some dirt on it and look forward to a better upgrade.

Maybe McCarthy wasn't an hard- azz grinder and that was likeable to Dak.?

So? What's Duck gonna do? Retire? Just shut up, cash your checks, and continue to take the team nowhere.
Exactly, go look at your bank account Dak - and shut the hell up. Who cares. Regular people have REAL problems. You get paid 60 mill a year now to play a game - once a week for not even half a year, lol. BOO FROGGING HOO

Dak is what he always was. A near 5th round QB that Jerry made the starter. Not his fault, but the king's fault. The king also gave him his first contract with a no trade clause. But check this out, LOL, HE GAVE HIM A SECOND HUGE CONTRACT WITH NO TRADE CLAUSE. Dak has always been trash, but in Jerry's mind, he was gold. Shopping for an undrafted QB and a near 5th round QB to take the Cowboys to the Super Bowl should be high treason. Cut him, take the damn hit and start over. That Manning kid is still in College. 1 star QB can change this entire FRANCHISE!
