He finally threw TDs. That is the one stat that has kept Dak from having an absolutely other-worldly rating and a guaranteed MVP award. It was Aikman's stat killer as well, having a great RB can keep the TD pct in check.

Yup. Look at Brees this year. Dude has thrown for 4,858 yards and 35 TDs but they're 7-8.

Usually if a QB is throwing a lot, it's because the team is behind.

Yup, agreed. I'm just stating why Dak is "only" in the mid 100s and not the mid 120s. We choose to score with Zeke from the 5 and in, the Pats and Pack choose to throw it in, thus the inflated TDs and ratings of the two MVP candidates.

Butler has dropped 3 catchable TD passes this season. I'm always worried when he's targeted on deep passes.
