Dak stats: 24/38 completion (63%), 226 yards and 3 touchdowns. 1 fumble and multiple near picks. Lose to Cardinals 25-22.
Summary: The Cowboys never took the lead throughout the entire game, Dak was miserable the entire first half, and the Cowboys were down big. With a chance to come back in the 4th, Dak fumbled the ball away which lead to the Cardinals with another 3 points, which eventually sealed the game.

Despite having one of the top receiving core in the league, the Cowboys fell to a extremely depleted Cardinals team without their #1 WR, RB, two pass rushers, and o-lineman. Dak had two wide open TD throws and an easy slant. Dak touchdowns throw came when the Cowboys were already trailing by multiple scores. Unlike Goff who own the Cardinals, Murray own the Cowboys.

Goff stats: 21/26 completion (81%), 216 yards and 3 touchdowns. 0 pick/0 fumble. Beat Cardinals 30-12.
Summary: The Lions never trailed the Cardinals the entire game, the Goffather took the Cardinals soul as Cardinals defensive players look completely confuse and fluster. Murray look frustrated on the sideline and even threw his helmet down. Cardinals defensive players bickering on the sideline. Goff is 8-0 versus the Cardinals in his last 8 games. He is also co-owner of the Cardinals.

Despite having the worst wide receiving core in the league, Goff could not be stop. He had a crazy tight window throw to a no name TE for a touchdown. He also had a beautiful TD throw to Brown after maneuvering in the pocket and facing pressure. Goff also had an easy slant as well. Goff TD throw came at the worst time for the Cardinals as they were back-breaker.

Conclusion: There is a reason why one QB is the #1 pick in the draft and the other is a 4th round draft pick, and that not a coincidence.

I don’t want a Qb that his head coach was questioning if he cared about losing games.

Yes, but his ceiling is still higher since he not fully develop. McVay never developed him, only micro-manage him. Dak has reach his ceiling, which is an average QB at best.

Soon to be long off-season because our QB ain’t built for what’s coming.
I want to get a look at your list of QBs that are built for:

Penalties on 3rd down
Living in 3rd and long
Playing with a rb that drags his leg behind him.

This should be fun.

Don’t forget a OC that likes to play sideways

Have you watched the backup QB Tyler Huntley play recently?

No.

I am sure he has had a nice string of games or something that is going to show me how bad dak is though, amirite?

No.

Yes. Grant it a small sample size but at least he can run. Team will have game tape on him next year, but he look better than Lamar.

Dak the first 3 quarters vs. Cardinals:

7 Possessions (4 Punts, 1 TD, 1 Missed FG; other possession continued into 4th quarter which eventually led to a TD)

43 Plays 162 Yards 3.77 YPP/average

15 of 27 55.6% Comp % 150 Yards 5.6 YPA 1 TD 2 Fumbles 2 Recoveries

So Dak doing what Dak often does: play like crap the first 3 quarters only to play better in the 4th quarter when the team is down by multiple scores only to once again come up short.

Combined opposing team record of Dak's 5 losses this season: 50-30 .625 Winning %

Combined opposing team record of Dak's 10 wins this season: 58-70 (divisional games not counted twice) .453 Winning %

So Dak beating up on average to below average teams while losing to above average teams......typical.

Dak be like that sometime...all the time.

Goff has 2 wins on the season..

you lose this argument

Some of these fans get offended when you compare Goff and Dak. Dak unfortunately needs a perfect world around him to function well.

I felt the same about Goff until he came to Detroit. His receiving core is the worst in the league, and we are talking about top 10 worst in league history. His #1 and #2 WR only lasted 1 game to boot. People here don't watch Lions game (like I do) so they keep using the same old debate, but Goff only has 2 wins blah blah blah. I swear so many Cowboys fan here only watch Cowboys game and think Dak is an elite/above average QB. They don't take into consideration the context or circumstances.

Does it really matter anymore regarding Dak vs. Goff vs. Wentz? That 2016 QB class just wasn't very great...maybe Wentz was on the path to greatness before his injury but since then, he's just been on the same level as the others. All three QBs are getting passed up by QBs from the following years.

Correct, Dak ( or our offense as a whole - Dak WR combo) is slow.
In reading the post snap coverage , reading the receivers position and receivers getting into good understanding with dak, dak deciding the best one to throw to etc… in the beginning of the game . As the game progresses, they starts to get better but by that time we are behind .

Slow starts indicate mental lapses than physical ones. A lot of this should be attributed to coaching an playcalling as well as the intellect of our players.

Now I am one of the biggest harpers on this OL . When OL gives enough time dak figures and finds the WR like wash game.

but , we should have game plans to get offense clicking even when we dont have ideal conditions and the QB and WRs should be able to execute it.
