Dak vs Goff

I like that much better than Dak vs Brees. There was no way Dallas was being Sean Payton coached team twice in same year. Dallas matches up better with Rams

Defense, WR, RB, OL = push

This game comes down to Dak vs Geoff. I give edge of mental toughness to Dak. My only concern is this game is Byron Jones.

The Rams have a much better OL and WR core than Dallas. What are you smoking? And at TE?

Dallas defense has played better...but the Rams have a more talented Defense.

And one QB was the No. 1 overall pick...the other was a throw-away 4th rounder...

No excuses for Goff.

So basically if we win this week we’ll lose guaranteed next week if it’s the Saints?

No off to the NFC Championship vs likely NO and while it is a tough task Cowboys would go in knowing they can beat them.

If you don't hit Goff and put him on his butt, and move him off his passing spot, then this will be a very long day for the Dallas Cowboys.

Gregory and D Law will do their thing.

So what you're saying is that we'll lose to the Saints if we beat the Rams? I don't think Philly beats NO. So we'll see Brees again. If we win next week.

We could end up playing the saints in the championship. So yeah.

True and hope that is the case that the Cowboys have the opportunity,1 game winner take all in the NFC Championship. If this is the case Cowboys go into the game knowing they can win even when they did not play their best overall game. I admit I would rather face Rams this weekend but would love nothing better than having a chance at a SB

The Rams have a more talented D? They have the best defensive player in Donald. They have an aging Sue. But our secondary is BETTER. And our linebackers are MUCH BETTER. So no, their D is not more talented. Maybe flashier name like "Peters" but Peters hasnt played as well as our 3rd cornerback this season.

Good thing we don’t actually play the game, the over confidence on here would make you think they don’t even have to practice against one of the highest scoring teams in the league. If our defense isn’t stout can we keep up?

Our defense will be stout.

We’re a defensive football team.

This Rams team isn't all that different from last years, save adding Cooks (who is awesome btw) and we've addressed the achilles heel that allowed them to come back and beat us last year. Aside from the Swtizer fumble (** SWITZER!!!) when Sean Lee went out, the D became unglued, and Gurley killed us over the middle. Now Lee can't even see the field, and Jaylon and LVE aren't having NONE of that.

I like the odds

How is the Lambs wr core better? Gallup is really coming on and Dallas will use Austin's speed more in wr sets.

Rams - Woods, Cooks, Kupp, Reynolds
Dallas - Cooper, Beasley, Gallup, Austin

Wow, the #1 pick Goff is a career 62.1% passer. Awesome!

I think our biggest advantage is running the ball on their defense. Also Kupp is out for the season so they really depend on Robert Woods and Brandin Cooks, although Gurley lines up in the slot sometimes too.

Kupp is out...ACL.

When I was studying QBs for that draft I noticed Goff was trash after he gets hit a few times. RG n DLaw gonna touch him you can believe that. Also, Goff is a stationary Target and those type don't do to well against this rush.

Edit: Cooks is the other WR.

It’s a good question. The data overwhelmingly points to this game being a shootout.
Their offense at home is crazy... they scored 37 points per game at home, which is the fifth best total in NFL history. But they also gave up more than that 28 points per game at home, and their point differential of 72, compared to other high scoring home teams in history is not that impressive. When you look at their schedule this holds up; they scored a lot of points but still played a bunch of close games. Heck, they won a 54 point game by only 3 points...

Goff looked awesome at home in the playoffs last year. Dude really elevated his game vs Atlanta. :muttley:
