Dak vs Goff

Jared Goff outplayed Kirk Cousins and led the Lions on a game winning drive without his #1 weapon and RB in DeAndre Swift. Goff was also without his pro-bowl center in Frank Ragnow.

This beg the question. Has Dak ever done what Goff did
In 2018, we were without our great center for an entire season. Dak led the team to a division title and won a playoff game.

In one of the games we played that year, when Zeke was inactive, Dak led a last-minute game-winning TD drive, throwing the game-winning TD pass (one of 4 toudhdown passes on the day).

So to answer your question: yes. Of course. Dak in fact has won a bunch of games during his career in which which he was missing a key weapon or a starting lineman. You'd know this if you were enough of a fan to watch our games.

Be less of a joke, kid.

Ya that 18 defense wasnt the best defense since the 90s or anything. They sucked and had nothing to do with the wins.

But Dak was not the reason we won that game, in fact he got outplayed by Wilson. He threw a pick and had a total rating of only 83.6 while Wilson had 105.9. The team won, but he didn't outplay anyone. Zeke had 137 yards rushing, Seattle couldn't stop Zeke. And nice try with he led the Cowboys to a win without Zeke, the only times he done that is against the 4 worst team in the league, in the Giants, Eagles, Lions, and Falcons.:facepalm::muttley:

I'm not some huge Prescott supporter but I especially never liked Stafford.

Maybe Prescott would stink in Detroit, but Stafford didn't?

Who doesn't need weapons and blocking?
This is the famous "Dak has all of these wEaPoNs!" argument that haters make. You have to understand, Dak is not allowed to have any weapons or it is devalued by 1/2.

Nevermind that a former Pro Bowler took over last year with said "wEaPoNs!" and it was a trashfest....

But he does have all the weapons. Other than Brady, who else has better weapons than Dak?

Jared Goff outplayed Kirk Cousins and led the Lions on a game winning drive without his #1 weapon and RB in DeAndre Swift. Goff was also without his pro-bowl center in Frank Ragnow. In fact, the Lions O-line has never been healthy together for the year. The moment Taylor Decker came back, Ragnow went out with a season ending injury.

This beg the question. Has Dak ever done what Goff did, under the most dired of situation? Has Dak ever won a game without Zeke while being the underdog? Has Dak ever won a game without a #1 or #2 receiver? Has Dak ever won a game when the Cowboys season was on the line? The answer is clearly no, because he is not capable of that.

Anthony Lynn is an awful coordinator and coach, and the Lions got their first tie and win with Dan Campbell calling the plays, and he awful himself. Goff won inspite of MCDC coaching, he carried his coach and saved his career. It's no surprise that the moment the Lions got Goff a starting receiver (#3) in Reynolds, Goff has looked like a different QB entirely. He looked like 2018 Goff, being clutch, and without McVay. And despite not having a starting reciever (prior to Reynold), Goff has gotten the Lions multiple game winning drives only for the defense to allow the other teams to get a walk-off win.

The Lions would go O-17 with Dak Prescott as their QB. Don't let Dak's stat fool you, this Cowboys team is literally carrying him. No one does less with more.

Now imagine if Goff had Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup
NEITHER ONE OF THEM IS WORTH THE CONTRACTS THEY SIGNED! NEITHER ONE OF THEM CAN CARRY A TEAM...............

We can agree with that! With that said, there is very few that can carry a team.

ah the elusive hater type thread that people claim floods the forum

Well, according to a lot of posters Dak is that next level QB and we should all crawl in a hole and shutup. Well, Dakie is average at best, if he doesn't have a healthy PRO Bowler at each position the Boys aren't winning and that is fricking sad for the amount of $$$$$$$$$$ he's pull'in in.

The only argument that can make this faulty premise reasonably entertaining is: WHAT IF Dak and Goff switched teams? What would happen?? Could Dak go to Detroit and make that team better?? What if we had Goff instead of Dak?? **Detroit doesn't have a running game to speak of nor do they have WR's that come close to the talents of Cooper, Cee Dee & Gallup.; We've all seen Dak struggle without his #1 & #2 WR's that were out for a game or two because of injury, but just imagine how tough it would be for him knowing that he must be GREAT every game just to give the Lions a chance to win.. On the flip side of the coin, I'm sure Goff would love the opportunity to be surrounded by the SUPERIOR OFFENSIVE TALENT that the Cowboys have, after all, the last time he was part of a team with as many great weapons he led them to a Super Bowl. Does this mean Goff has the advantage?? ask me again in February.

and this is important because?

who in the heck in the world cares about Goff, Lions and what they did

oh wait, yeah, except for Dak haters...

dude, you are very embarassing Cowboys fan....when you goal is to knock Dak, its your sole focus and you live for nothing but knocking Dak...get a life a dude...you are way to emotional about this
Who is embarrassing who in this situation?

Dak in a whole other galaxy, why even talk about this?

These are all debateable:

Cousins
Stafford
Herbert
Mahomes
Allen
Brady (as you said)

The only one with 3 wide receivers is the Rams, but Jefferson is not there yet (need another year), OBJ is past his prime, and Kupp is solid. If they had Woods, I have to give the nods to Stafford and the Rams. I'll take Gallup over Jefferson.
