if he has to throw for 6000 yards, it means we are making come back from behind in many games, meaning the defense sucks....the key is to run the ball and eat the clock and make the game shorter.... have leads in the 4th quarter and let zeke accumulate stats in the 4th by running the ball to end games.

Hopefully DQ and the defense are much improved. It will make it easier to maintain balance when you aren't down three scores in the 1st quarter. Teams were scoring on nearly every possession it seemed, early in the season.

Dak controls the offense and whether it is balanced or not. Dak is the team leader. Dak calls the audibles. Dak reads the defensive formations and chooses pass or run. Granted, one has to take what the defense is giving for the most part.

Score early and get the lead and you can have a balanced offense.

Don’t turn the ball over and fall behind by double digit scores and you can have a balanced offense.

Avoid negative plays on first down. Get 2nd and 6 and 3rd and short and you can have a balanced offense.

Dak has all the tools he needs to achieve a balanced offense. A balanced offense is under his control. He has to go out and lead and produce a balanced offense. That is why they pay him $40M/year.

I would much rather see this team showing balance and a defense that can actually take the ball away or have greater success in 3rd down situation to put the ball back in the hands of this offense. 6,000 yards passing? all that means to me is the defense is not stopping anyone and we are playing from behind. Hell Dak could be up less than 4,000 and if we are winning I'm good with that, individual stats mean nothing if you are not winning ball games

2016-2018 was the best version of the offense we've seen with Dak. To your point, he threw for under 4,000 yards all 3 of those seasons. We went 13-3, 9-7 (Only because Zeke was suspend 6 games), and 10-6.
