Dak was spectacular last night and definitely didn’t deserve to lose, BUT if what I’m hearing out of the star this morning, the second and third down plays were his decisions and he made the wrong decisions and probably can argue even made a mistake on 4th down...his great performance was a huge reason they even had a chance to win the game, but when it mattered most he should have trusted himself more then what he did

Garrett hinted at that to cover his own butt and people are running with it.

It makes no sense. Why would a quarterback trying to get paid go to the run unless he was running? Gosh this game gave me nightmares

Exactly what i was telling clowns in that Dak thread. He played well, not amazing and was definitely a contributing factor the loss....

I'm not Dak's biggest fan but he was spectacular last night. The primary reason they were in that position was him. The play calls were stupid and people on the team screwed up. Those are the primary reasons why the late drive didn't get a TD. At the end of the day, a QB can only carry people so far.

What I am hearing out of the Star this morning. LOL.

What you are hearing out of the Star is Garrett in full blown save my job mode. Even if Dak did screw that up, take some ********* ownership Garrett. Instead he blamed his OC and the QB.

And Jerry will probably lap it up. This franchise is screwed plain and simple.

If we thought Dak was making decisions to bolster his paycheck rather than to win games we wouldn't pay him anyway. Dak has never shown to be that kind of selfish player.

SO Garrett is going to try to save his job and say that Dak had the options.
Yeah he used to do that to Romo whenever there were terrible calls made that didn't work out. Apparently it works because he's still here.

Garrett is covering his ***, I would watch the all 22 if you have it. And make a intellectual decision on what actually happen.

I thought he should have kept the ball on 3rd down. 4th down was not the right decision. That said, running on 2nd and 3rd were not bad decisions given the clock and the way our D was playing. However, our foresight on rushing plays from the 3-2 minute mark was just stupid. We should have been running clock, not running up to get the next play in. We had a ton of time and 3 timeouts. Our goal should have been to score with under 30 on the clock.

Buffooons!

Zeke also said that Dak mad the right read on one of the RPO’s.

either way, yes Dak ultimately didn’t make the last play and we can question the decision on the options.

but it’s also a fact that the coaches did NOT put him or the offense in a position to succeed down there.

they had 3 chances to gain 2 yards. And they ran twice and LOST yards. Then giving only one pass for 5 yards.

That’s not maximizing the probability of picking up the first down.

The coaches need to make things easier on the players just for freaking once already.

So Garrett is lying?

Do you guys hear what you are saying?

Honestly............ I wouldn't trust Garrett.

That's not to say he's lying here but we have seen Garrett before in save his job mode and he's quick to chuck people under the bus to serve his own needs.
