Dak was misquoted: "We won't have those tipped INT's this year"

Talk is cheap, Fuzzy.
Indeed, words some around here should take to heart. Full of sound and fury signifying noting is the cliche.

Again, I can almost guarantee you that MM challenged Prescott to a single digit pick total. Let's see what happens.

lol...you can't almost guarantee anything unless you were in their conversation. Get right.

well AC, I don't recall Micah failing to back up anything he has said. So, it's two completely different trust levels.

Cowboys' Micah Parsons has eyes on breaking the NFL sack record in 2022: 'Fifteen's the minimum' for Year 2

Parsons: "Yeah, 15's like the minimum. 15's what I wanna hit. But definitely 23 is that goal, to break the record."

Micah ended 2022 with 13.5 sacks, well short of his prediction.

Quote from an article:

"Prescott is confident that dubious distinction won’t be repeated because he considers himself unluck to have thrown 15 interceptions in the first place.

'I know who I am, and you can go back and take away half of those off drops,' Prescott told Gabriel Trevino of The Forth Worth Star-Telegram. 'I’m not saying it’s on the receiver, but if you cut that in half then we start talking about those, nobody is talking about it.”

An article link is needed from a non-subscription source.

I mean Micah was part of the team that lost in SF was he not?
Like 50 of the 52 starters did their job well enough to win. Certainly the Defense as a whole. So, acting like Micah didn't do his job is ....odd at best.

Besides, it has nothing to do with the question. Has Micah made statements \ proclamations about what he would do and then completely fail to deliver? Same question for Dak. Two easy answers.

I am trying to find the article where MM talks about it. Unfortunately the KC Star is behind a paywall but I recall Gannon and Grbac talking about MM setting that goal for them.

I already answered you. Even listed quotations and link.

The issue with this comment is that 10 isn't even that bad if the other stats are up and we are winning. Overall guys on this team need to stop running their mouths and just go out and produce. I'm excited about this year. Would like to see a quietly confident team. They take the bait too easily.

By my math he got 90% of the minimum he set. If Dak set's the goal at 10 and throws 11, I'll give him the same 10% leeway.

FWIW, Micah would have probably had at least another 5 sacks if he wasn't being held on most plays.

More on topic though, has Dak not developed a history of saying he was going to do or not do things on the field which haven't been backed up?
