Dak wasn't that good last night **merged**

Couldn't disagree more, there's so much more to a QB then what his numbers suggest, Dak was totally in control last night, most of his incompletions came from pressure where he had to throw the ball away, and most importantly Dak was a huge weapon on the ground with the zone read, not only getting huge chunks of yards, but taking hits and bouncing right up, while moving the chains or keeping the team at manageable 3rd downs. He had 7 carries for 45 yards from your QB..
Please list your top ten to twelve current nfl qbs.

Neither was Zeke. What did Zeke do besides get stuffed trying to run it up the middle over and over? If we are gonna pick apart Dak's game, do the same for Zeke.

What did Zeke do? Did you not see the td run? Near zero blocking. Several other runs he got positive yardage despite being hit in the backfield.

As far as "getting stuffed", even a Zeke needs the line to block properly, you have to run the called play at least some of the time, if the hole's not there, that's on the line, not Zeke....

You meant to say 3 times, I'm sure. Super bowl in 12, Wild Card in 14, Division Title in 11.
I didn’t look it up but I thought I heard that on Friday......I stand corrected,by they still are going nowhere Ray Lewis isn’t walking through that door.

Last night we game planned for the giants. The plan was successful. No reason to think the same plan will be used against falcon or eagles.

Broncos won a SB that way (Manning in his last SB win was awful that year), Ravens build their team that way every year, and what was the Seahawks "claim to fame" for their SB win and appearance? The Legion of Boom, was it not?

More than one way to skin a cat. Or win SBs...

Yeah they are called “outliers”...building a team based on 3 anomalys is a pretty bad way to run a team.

And please let’s not go over the top comparing our D to some of the best defenses of modern football yet. It’s just ridiculous. I was trying to be the voice of reason and be even keeled with a “let’s see” approach...you’re turning me into sounding negative with ridiculous over the top optimism

I said catchable. At some point a WR need to make a play.

If Gallup catches that ball he is out of bounds anyways....so that’s a catchable ball. And if rico makes that catchthat would have been pretty spectacular. Same as last year....and ball dak throwswhere somegets. A finger on the ball is considered catchable..uh,ok.

Zeke rushed for 3 times more yards than saquon. Saquon was the giants leading receiver with 14.

I saw Zeke refusing to go to the outside on his runs when the defense was waiting for him to go up the middle.

Yeah, it’s easy to win the sb with a crap qb. 85 bears and 2000 ravens did it.....come on front office, get it done.

He made 2 other deep throws. Gallup dropped one and on the other the WR was covered and he threw it OoB. Putting all of it on Dak is ridiculous others have to make plays and do their job too and sometimes the defense does their job.Dak ain't perfect, but there's room on the bus for all the other players and coaches that aren't either.
Gallup dropped it out of bounds because it was a bad throw

And the other was covered well

Stop having selective memory

Gallup had space to catch that ball and turn his body to stay in--a difficult catch ,no doubt but other WRs are making that. Shoot, look at James Conner's catch yesterday. Rico times his jump wrong, but that pass was catchable and crazy accurate considering he had pressure in his face from the break.

They're not easy catches, but that is why you need talent at WR/TE.

16/25 for 160, that's a 64% completion rate and 6.4 yards par pass...which is bad onto it self......one play was for 64...which is good, but that means he was 15/24 for 96 yards.....and a paltry 4 yards per pass attempt.... that's ugly. really ugly... that means that teams don't respect the deep or medium throws and willing to gamble...yes they gave up a 64 TD pass, but that's one play....

one thing that was evident again last night, in the second half TD drive, he was setting his feet and making the throws...they were on target and had zip....then he was ugly footwork again for a lot of the other throws....

There were 5 deep balls and at least 5 throw aways to avoid a sack. Was Dak great? No. But you're working hard to make it look like he didn't do anything right.

It's the second game with an overhauled receiving corp and it was better than the first. Hopefully it'll continue to improve.

I am not a fan of Dak, but he showed up yesterday, he played with guts made some good throws and ran the ball.
Saying that, I think that is his ceiling, and therefore not a guy I'd build a team around, not even close.

Nothing changed last night, we beat one of the worst teams in the league with one of the worst QB's in the league, but hey, a win is a win and our D is real.

IMO, Still a 6/7 win team this year.

ridiculous over the top optimism

Over the top optimism? Saying you can win SBs with a strong defense is hardly "over the top'. I did not say this team's defense is at that level, only that it's one way to build a SB winning team....

The bad thing about this is... Garrett and Jerry will think they have found the solution. Dak is a less than average QB. Aside from that one play.. he rarely throws deep.. that is concerning
he threw over 30 yards 4 times last night.

Dak played better last night. Got the ball from point A to B. Like others have posted, some nice throws were called back.

I think his biggest blunder was missing a wide open Rico in the endzone.
