Dak - We were definitely supposed to win this game

The sad point is that Jerry is doing everything he can to carry dak. Wonder why we don't build a team and get a Folks, Dilfer, or Brad Johnson quarterback. Hum. I guess those guys didn't sell enough jerseys.
The time to have built the team around Dak is when we had MM as Head Coach and Dan Quinn as DC. Both Jerry and his son were too cheap to go out and get the horses - especially on defense - to put them in a spot to compete. We all had our criticisms of Big Mike and Quinn, but they at least had NFL credibility from other franchises. How many consecutive seasons, were we as fans, screaming to go out and sign Bobby Wagner to man the middle linebacker position. Imagine if we brought in someone like a Quinnen Williams or Deron Payne to shore up the DT position. Those guys along with Parson might have made a difference.

Instead, he waits until he has two unproven, never-was coaches in Schotty and Parker to decide that he is going to get aggressive and try to go all-in. Worse, we pissed away premium 2027 draft picks that we could have used in what is supposed to be a very strong draft pool next year.

Here's the summation and it isn't pretty. We have overpaid for below average JAGs like Bland, Ferguson, and Leupke; thrown away 4th round picks on Mingo and Milton - both of whom will never play a meaningful game for the Cowboys; placed our faith in two unproven coaches trying to make it up on fly; a $60 million QB who has an over-inflated opinion of himself - all led by a narcissistic owner and his nepo son, who believe and sell every year that this team is special. Meanwhile, us fans are living in perpetual purgatory.

While checking stats, how about this one, We took the opening drive and scored a TD with ~11:00 left in the 1st. We didn't score another TD until there was ~5:26 left in the 4th. In between there was a FG at the end of the half. That's it for over 45 minutes of the game nothing but a single FG. GOTI?

You mean when they paid Dak $60M/yr? Hard to do that and build a team.

Dak didn't sign that contract until September 2024. Under MM and Quinn, they had 12-5 records in 2021, 2022, and 2023. JJ and son could have improved the team during those years. Instead, they sat on their butts believing that teams are built through the draft and not free agency. Once they signed Dak to that contract - you would be correct in that it stifled their ability to get better talent and keep better talent (Parsons).

This was an Arizona Cardinals type of loss
Mentioning Arizona......Marvin Harrison Jr, who's been maligned about production often throughout his short career, is circling the date again. We know what happened with his last encounter with our D. Jacoby Brissett getting excited too. SMH.

Yeah and i was supposed to make my wife breakfast but i put a hand grenade in her lunch pale instead with a note that said “lunch is da bomb”

The way I saw it was they were looking ahead to sign Dak and were figuring that into what else they did. They are always worried about "cap hell" and let that hold them back. Then they also make mistakes. Like losing Micah and Tank and basically ruining the Dline. I think they decided to let Tank walk, a mistake IMO, and Jerry simply blew it with Micah. He should have signed him after year 3. Of course that's just my speculation.

Now it won't because of the news coverage. You would think most business owners wouldn't want to take that chance
I mean the action itself. Nothing that guy did is going to affect anything. Dak staring the guy down and then making it a manhood thing is really the big story to me. But Dak could have just been angry and embarrassed and overreacted. Just a big nothingburger.

My point was, that is he was employed by a contractor and said what he said in a restricted area, he could have cause his boss and coworkers their jobs. Fans have freedom of speech, employees, don't
