With his weapons and with a competent coach, I think Dak has a shot at breaking a lot of passing records. I hope they go to a ball control offense, but I think MM is gonna air it out and Dak will be the BEST QB in Cowboys history...

The Cowboys have a long history of amassing all sorts of "weapons" but the eventual result not being as shiny as the sum of all the parts. The 2008 season, for instance - Dallas was picked by many as a Super Bowl favorite - but falling short of the playoffs entirely.

So no, I don't think Dak is going to break records. He'll turn in a good season, no doubt, but Peyton will be safe. Unless Kellen Moore suddenly goes full blast bore.

No chance DAk is better then aikman and staubach. We will be very fortunate if he ends better than Romo.

Without looking at the #s.. I would guess Dak is on track to beat almost every record Romo holds in the Franchise. If he's here long term of course. But, he's already shown that he's more durable than Romo which will help a lot. He came up just short of the Season passing record in Cowboy's history last year.

Dak is the immediate future for the Cowboys. They have even built their offense around him. As long as the offensive tackles hold up...they should be top shelf.

As much as this hurts, the Franchise is dependent upon him...now pay him for an agreement long termed.

I completely agree.

You know the growing Dak hater mob will be ridiculing this.

I don't care how many records he breaks.
That's not what makes a quarterback great.
I care how he plays and how many Championship trophies the Cowboys have.

No doubt we will throw a lot but still end up 7-9. Like last year we will be average at best but he gets padded stats.
