Jason doesn't have the football acumen to unleash a guy like Dak. Dak's accuracy and reads leave a lot to be desired sometimes, but this guy is built like a linebacker.

We've been essentially plug-and-playing a hard, physical QB into a Tony Romo drop back and pass system for 4 years.

LMAO..exactly!! The guy should have broke Romo's passing record,if not for shoddy coaches. What I loved from Dak about that record was what he said afterwards when he didn't get a chance to break it. He said he doesn't deserve it! He said because his team didn't make the playoffs. I am summarizing it..but damn, how do ya NOT love that from your franchise leader and QB? Makes me wanna suit up and play with him lol. We are lucky to have a winner like that.

It’s not a terrible point. We failed to take advantage of Dak on a rookie contract. Now we have to pay him big money and we’re still not 100% sure if he’s a franchise QB. Look at Seattle on the other hand. They knew Russell Wilson was a star immediately and they tried to pile up as many Super Bowl titles before the core team was too expensive to keep together. Now they have far lesser talent but are being held together by Wilson’s abilities.

Pure speculation. We can all hope the entire team does better ,which is the important thing. Special Teams, Defense, and an offense that either scored no Td's or only 1TD in winnable close games needs improvement as well. Nothing wrong with speculation because that's what this forum is for.
