Not sure who the Running Back in the draft will be, but i have a feeling we maybe looking at the new future after the draft.

I've seen this before and it's lining up to potentially pan out that way.

This should not only light a fire under Dak this season if he stays healthy, but I believe that if Dak gets injured next season, and Milton comes in and shows his potential, then that's pretty much all she wrote for Dak.

Milton is not proven but neither was Dak after Romo. I am about ready to turn this page. I am sick of Dak just like I got sick of Romo.

I know change when I see it and the stage is set. When the RB is drafted, those two along with Lamb will be our guys.

YOU KNOW change when you see it?? Well 60 million is a lot of change to see, he's not going anywhere for a while. It would be eye opening if he were to get hurt and the rookie gets hot and they stay with him going into the next season

With us signing Williams and Sanders, will they get a top tier back or a guy on the 3rd day that's basically going to be a backup. Both guys are on one year deals, why not get a day 1 or day 2 RB

...pre Team Chemistry euphoria..?
I don't know if I have the confidence of them being successful, but i believe at some point they will all be on the field together. Where it goes from there is anyone's guess.

And I also so say that because.......well that's just the Cowboys luck.

I'd be shocked if Milton takes a snap in 2025 whether Dak gets injured or not. The immediate backup likely is not on the roster yet. Milton was acquired for the longer term. Under contract for 3 years.

Settle down. We traded one of the last picks in.thr 5th round for him. Dont be the lile the Lance-A-Lots were and over project on someone who is highly unlikely to live up to those expectations

Do you believe the back up QB isn't on the roster because you are hoping the Cowboys Draft a QB you favor?

It seems you believe a guy traded for later picks may either get cut in camp or end up on the practice squad.

Neither would make any sense.

Seems you are speaking off of emotions. Dak will do that to a fan.

hey you can't tell me what to do!
The cowboys are known to bring in guys like Williams and sanders. Their guy will be in the 1st or 2nd. I believe Williams takes the backup spot. Sanders i just don't believe has the little that he once had.

i think he has an excellent shot at QB2 and he will see the field in week1 if he gets it on a tush push for a first down...this dude is a monster of a QB should be a great fit for a tush push plus keeps Dake from getting mangled in it.

You see the contract Dak signed? And we just restructured him lol

I didn't say anything about Dak, and my post had nothing to do with him. It was about you placing an ill founded expectation on a player we gave up very little to aquire

Id love for a guy, even Milton, to challenge Prescott. But expecting that from him is about as far from reality as those expecting it from Lance

I could be wrong. This seems like a move with 2026-beyond in mind. But we'll see....

Its Trance 2: Electric Boogaloo

We add a new QB and there are going to people that go "OhboyOhboyOhboy!"
Milton is raw maybe not as raw as Lance but Raw, but with no Rush on the team and a new coaching staff, im betting he is week1 QB2 unless he flops in PS...for sure the odds for bad are there.

I am ok personally with the top 7 RBs. If you consider Cam Skattebo top 7. Im especially Ok with top 4 Jeanty,Hampton,Henderson and Johnson. They are impact players. i definitely want a back in day 1 or 2 and I want WR to be the other pick

I personally don't consider the Williams and sanders pick ups to be much improvement from Zeke and Dowdle and we need to get better there

I agree. I don't see better options. I think he is a better prospect than anyone we would draft past the 3rd. Hopefully this kills any Quinn Ewers chance
