The cowboys have taken their fair share of hits on contracts thru out history, ones I'd love to forget. Dak contract just means another potential bullet to bite for the FO.You see the contract Dak signed? And we just restructured him lol
Says not emotional.I didn't say anything about Dak, and my post had nothing to do with him. It was about you placing an ill founded expectation on a player we gave up very little to aquire
Id love for a guy, even Milton, to challenge Prescott. But expecting that from him is about as far from reality as those expecting it from Lance
"all she wrote" is a GREAT phrase. I use it often. I'm thinking you are 50+, right? Not sure who the Running Back in the draft will be, but i have a feeling we maybe looking at the new future after the draft.
I've seen this before and it's lining up to potentially pan out that way.
This should not only light a fire under Dak this season if he stays healthy, but I believe that if Dak gets injured next season, and Milton comes in and shows his potential, then that's pretty much all she wrote for Dak.
Milton is not proven but neither was Dak after Romo. I am about ready to turn this page. I am sick of Dak just like I got sick of Romo.
I know change when I see it and the stage is set. When the RB is drafted, those two along with Lamb will be our guys.
So I see you dont intended on offering a real counterpointSays not emotional.
Says not about Dak.
Sets the bar so high for Mr. Prescott, that even Milton won't challenge him.
Pretty bold saying for a guy with great regular season stats.
Totally agree!!! What are your thoughts on Skattebo, is he a future 3 down back for us or a rotational guy? I think he would bring some energy to our RB room, I like the others you've mentioned too even if it means taking them in round 1 (Jenty/Hampton) would like a trade down thoughI am ok personally with the top 7 RBs. If you consider Cam Skattebo top 7. Im especially Ok with top 4 Jeanty,Hampton,Henderson and Johnson. They are impact players. i definitely want a back in day 1 or 2 and I want WR to be the other pick
I personally don't consider the Williams and sanders pick ups to be much improvement from Zeke and Dowdle and we need to get better there
Skattebo is the one coin flip at RB to me on one hand he has shown some of the best actual game tape of any of them on the other its a head scratcher how...he may be the best value at RB in a long time or he could be off the team year 2...I am ok personally with the top 7 RBs. If you consider Cam Skattebo top 7. Im especially Ok with top 4 Jeanty,Hampton,Henderson and Johnson. They are impact players. i definitely want a back in day 1 or 2 and I want WR to be the other pick

he might im just saying if Milton can get his arm under control his upside is well higher than Grier and his shot at QB2 is better.LOL so many of you are overlooking Will Grier. I’m willing to bet he ends up being a serviceable backup.
Its Trance 2: Electric Boogaloo
We add a new QB and there are going to people I couldn't stand the Lance signing. A blind individual could see Lance couldn't throw.
30s but I am an old soul. I had a thing for classic cars and oldies music in my early teens, and still do."all she wrote" is a GREAT phrase. I use it often. I'm thinking you are 50+, right?
ok good. "thats all she wrote" is a very old saying. A lot of younger people don't understand what it means. I saw you mentioned that and I was like.....YES!!!30s but I am an old soul. I had a thing for classic cars and oldies music in my early teens, and still do.
50+ is on my bucket list though!
Maybe, but if Dak goes down I can guarantee that Grier gets the first shot. He has way more NFL experience than Milton and more ready to start. Of course I agree that Milton may be better long term.he might im just saying if Milton can get his arm under control his upside is well higher than Grier and his shot at QB2 is better.
I did. You just failed to see it.So I see you dont intended on offering a real counterpoint
I've looked at a lot of Alfred Hitchcock presents....maybe that's it.ok good. "thats all she wrote" is a very old saying. A lot of younger people don't understand what it means. I saw you mentioned that and I was like.....YES!!!
From a financial commitment point of view. Like it or not, Dallas's commitment to him and how destructive cap wise it would be to end, means Prescott is our QB for probably the next two years. Im not optimistic in his play. I thought his performance this past year showed signs of regression. Possibly wear and tear due to injuries. However due to the dead cap over tje next couple years, Dallas is backed into a corner. Maybe towards the end of 2027 you could see a real challenge. But rain or shine, Prescott is going into the next two seasons as the Cowboys QBI did. You just failed to see it.
You believe Dak is hard to challenge?
How so?
I believe Cam can come in and be better than anyone we currently have in the RB room but i also believe that of the other top 7 backs. Jeanty if he gets by Chicago and Oakland would be a dream scenario and you run that pick to the commish.Totally agree!!! This is quite a stretch. Milton is a late round roll of the dice. A safe and good use of the pick. Not sure who the Running Back in the draft will be, but i have a feeling we maybe looking at the new future after the draft.
I've seen this before and it's lining up to potentially pan out that way.

Yeah I love doing the mocks too, one day at another time i'll ask what site(s) you use! I don't think he'll be there at 44 the way he's being talked about. I'm just team trade down, if we can't get t-mac or Jenty, trade down to the 20's see if we can get him. If not either of those 2 Rb's, we look to get Johnson nextI believe Cam can come in and be better than anyone we currently have in the RB room but i also believe that of the other top 7 backs. Jeanty if he gets by Chicago and Oakland would be a dream scenario and you run that pick to the commish.
If Im understanding you right you would trade down for Hampton? I do all these mocks and some say hell be available at 44 some don't my personal thought is hell be gone earlier than our second pick but who knows.
