Started in Atlanta last year and ended at home vs the Titans this season. Factor in the beating he took in ATL, Missing Zeke and Tyron, and not having a real LT option, Not having a healthy #1 receiver or any #1 and you get a 7-9 record, 20 Total-TD's and 21 Total Turnovers. Awful season.

Now the other 29 starts for Dak look pretty amazing. 23-6 record..59 Total-TD's and only 16 Total-Turnovers. and by the way he is still taking a beating back there, but is able to overcome it. This kid is still improving but he is already a winner. Even with that 16 game stretch of bad play his overall record is 30-15. And he played great when he had a playoff appearance. He needs to fix the Gallup- connection. He needs to get improve ball security in the pocket, but he is a very good and at times great QB. Accept it and move on...

spin spin spin spin....now you are going to take away a 16 game between two seasons, calling it a season and spinning things..... not sure where to go with this thread. its quite comical

Missing Tyron would have been a blessing yesterday. No way the back-up could have played worse.

DAK is a below average QB he is not the answer. He needs good players to maked him just ok. Good QBs make decent receives good. Dak does not
I don’t think he is below average
To me he is the definition of average
The problem is average QB cost a big pct of your cap and then you struggle to keep the weapons they need
It’s a league wide problem and no easy solution

After the game last night, I asked my Son this question:

Which Dak would you rather have?

The 42/54 for 455, 3 TDs, 2 INTs, 1 Fmbl Dak

or

The 20/25 for 250/275 1 TD with no INTs and no Fmbl Dak?

Either way I find myself upset at the plays he doesn't make vs the plays he makes.

His completion percentage is so bogus because of the countless checkdowns and when he throws downfield it's a circus.

This notion that he relies on all of these so called weapons and is average is just plain lunacy.

He finally gets a great weapon and actually makes him better than he ihas ever been. Dak needs him though LOL!

AVERAGE..hahaa

Ultimately I think they are the same guy... the totals were through the roof because of the insane number of plays the Cowboys ran. Imagine all of those pass attempts and yet Zeke still had 28 carries too.
The fumbling is not really related and where a lot of the concern should be.

Yeah now go pay him 28 mill a year and take away the guys around him who are really the guys winning these games and see how well our team does.
Catch, a little off topic but do you think Atlanta overpaid for Ryan?

I'll take him pushing the ball down field all day to mixed results. Don't forget the frustration around here when he refused to even attempt downfield passes earlier in the season.

I prefer the former. There's no chance of winning playoff games without scoring more than 13 points.

This is my thoughts on him as well. I also agree with the league wide problem thing too. I think he is just avg and tbh the Dak groupies know he is too. Anytime folks using he's a nice guy as one of the main characteristics of an athlete they normally aren't that good similar to Tebow. You might say Lebron, Bree's, Brady is a nice guy but that isn't normally one of the first things you say about them. That's reserved for try hards that because they are "nice" you don't want to be as cruel as you would with someone you didn't like. I also don't like people trotting out the stupid win loss record. Garrett has the same record and I don't see folks clamoring to keep him around and hyping up that stuff the same way so since it's not universally used I can't respect it as a thing to be brought up.
