For QB's under 25 years old for since Dak was drafted (2016)

Wins: 1st (26)
Completion Percentage: 2nd (65%)
Yards Passing: 2nd (8,921)
QB Rating: 4th (94.4)
TDs Passing: 2nd (56)
TDs Rushing: 1st (15)

Not saying he's an elite QB by any means. He is not devoid of blame for the offensive struggles.

However,

Judging from the 1000 other variables, along with the career statistics, I'm amazed how many blame Dak for nearly all the problems on offense, and are ready to give up on him. It's such a vapid take to assume a 3rd year QB is entirely to blame.

Also, Dallas has given up the most sacks in the NFL this year at 32. They have given up the 4th most over the last 2 seasons. Granted, some of these are due to Dak hanging on to the ball to long, but a majority come from missed assignments or absolute whiffs by the blocker. I'm sure it's mostly Dak's fault though huh? Regardless, a 3rd year QB will never, has never, and won't ever look good with this quality of O-line play.

Not to mention, many make it out like this offense was prolific under Tony Romo. LOL. This offense has been the same nearly the entire time Garrett has been coaching. The biggest (fixable) problem IMO.

put the ball on the ground again last night.

this particular habit has got to STOP

Oh without a doubt. He has atrocious accuracy on throws he should make consistently. But his footwork has regressed. He throws fading away like he's under pressure, even when there is none. This is 100% coaching. He is not being coached up like Goff or Mahomes.

He did all these things in college. While I agree he has not been coached up, he is basically displaying the same tendencies that he has had his whole life, many of which the two QB's you mentioned did not have. Every single scouting report on him before he was drafted listed the things you list and more. I am not saying coaching is not to blame somewhat, but as the old saying states: You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

He has supposedly worked with various trainers in the off-seasons (on mechanics and accuracy) still we see no change. Some of this has to be on him if he keeps reverting back to what he has always been. I hope it works for him, but the consistency leaves me leery. Again I am not saying he is not without some strengths but the tendencies (weaknesses) he currently are showing should be a surprise to no one.

I guess Kellen Moore missed that "those that can't do teach" seminar in the off season.

He'll never be a top 5 QB. Everyone knew this right off the bat. But there are too many other issues with the Offense to pinpoint all the blame on Dak. He can be a franchise QB given the right coach. Thoroughly convinced coaching can make or break any QB, other than the handful of HOF'rs who would be great anywhere they went. But we'll remain in purgatory for decades if we wait around for that QB to arrive.
