I hope you’re wrong. Signing him again may do me in after 58 years of being a fan. This is exactly what should happen.
But I'm expecting a 3rd contract and with the same or less onfield results as this QB has always had.
It's a gloomy time, the Dak Era.
Nooooooooo! Please NO!Be prepared.
They are going to restructure him in 2023 kicking more down the road. They need cap relief for next year.
True.Problem is Jerry normally sees it as they are one player away so he doesn't want to use a top pick on a QB.

I can't see him on the roster beyond the end of next season. He has become very injury prone and it's starting to reach the point where you question how many more hits can he actually take. His mobility looked severely laboured as well. He's done.
Haha I hear you but if the guy is struggling to get on the field and in his actual play then cut ties. Take the hit and move on. Rookie QB is on peanuts in comparisonThere will be $52 million reasons why he won’t be released after next season. We are stuck with the guy. I guess it is time to start drinking during Cowboys games again.
Exactly...who wouldn't want to trade for #4Also, if you draft a QB in round 1 and Dak plays decent next year. Somebody will do a trade for him including a restructured deal. There are always QB desperate teams out there.
Yes. Jerry and his FO work in, while I want to say "mysterious", stupid ways.Should be done but I doubt they do it.
If Green Bay could draft Rodgers while having Favre, Dallas can and should do the same thing. Find the future QBTrue but they could draft his replacement or a young QB for a backup.
The laziest move is the most obvious for this team.Be prepared.

He has a 2023 $49M cap hit with $89M dead cap. In other words, we can pout til we are blue, so like it or not he's going to be on this team at least until 2024. So all the talk about tanking and getting rid of after this season is just that, talk.
