Came in expecting some low IQ level hateful stuff…not disappointed

At this point Dak could save a child from a fire and there would be posters that would come to criticize it
Except, Dak didn't save a child from a fire. Or anything close.
It's a story about an idiot doing idiot things and people are rightfully calling it out.

Sorry man, but if you leave $40K worth of merch and credit cards in your car unlocked and unattended because you "had to get to Pilates on time" then you're an idiot who deserves to be identified as such.

Heck, leaving it in your car *locked* in plain view is begging for trouble but at least make them smash the windows or something.
Noting idiocy as idiocy is not low level IQ.

Low level IQ is leaving $40k of stuff in your backseat unlocked.
She's either a total moron or this is some sort of scam with a deeper story underneath.

Its a lesson for next time. Everyone has to keep their heads on a swivel nowadays, no matter how nice the neighborhood seems. It's really a shame.

Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow and Luka Dončic's families have also been targeted... I guess they're all idiots as well?

Bad things happen to everyone.
I am going to argue that these are two different things. There is an understanding among all of society, rich or poor, that your house would tend to be the safest place, other than a bank safety deposit box for valuables.

Leaving $40k of valuables in your car on the day after Christmas while going to Pilates is not the same as a home invasion.

Grandma could get saved from oncoming traffic and we'd have people hoping she sues Dak.

A million random senerios can happen where her or your family can find themselves with valuables in a car. That doesn't mean they are dumb.

Im sure If robbers caught you on a good day (Christmas shopping, going to/from a bank, etc.) they would've got something valuable that you don't usually carry around.

I came here thinking she was robbed at gunpoint or the house was broken into.

But she left that many things worth that much in her car but didn’t lock it because she was late … to Pilates?

Good grief man
If no threat of force is involved, it's not robbery. It's theft.

Didn't see this posted anywhere. It's an article about Dak's fiance having 40 thousand dollars worth of luxury goods stolen from her car. Who the heck leaves that much valuable stuff in their car??:huh:

DALLAS — According to a Dallas Police Department report obtained and reviewed by WFAA, tens of thousands of dollars worth of items were stolen from Dak Prescott's fiancé Thursday.
The report says Sarah Ramos arrived at a Pilates class Thursday morning, and that she "quickly rushed inside due to the rain." "Due to the haste," the report continues, she "forgot to lock her [vehicle] door."

When she returned and entered her vehicle after the class, the report says, several pieces of property had been taken. At this time, the report says, she "was notified that her credit cards were being used at [another] location."
The report detailed several pieces of property stolen that amounts to close to $40,000 in estimated worth, including designer handbags and wallets from Chanel, YSL, Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Prada, as well as computer software and cash. The incident occurred the day after Christmas.
The theft follows a string of burglaries targeting high-profile athletes like Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow and Luka Dončić. Security expert Doug Deaton said thieves targeting these athletes are professional thieves.
"They will often follow [athlete's] family members from stores, from the supermarket, from the mall, follow [the athletes] from the games, follow [them] to and from your work," he explained.
"The biggest thing that I would advise [athletes and their families] to do is to assume they are being observed by professionals because they are."
Dallas Police Department sources confirmed to WFAA Sunday that Dončić's home was broken into Friday through his back master bedroom, that they rummaged through the bedroom and bathroom, then got away with a necklace worth $4,000 dollars, three earrings worth $14,000 and four rings worth $,5,000.
The Dallas Police Department is investigating both cases.
Yeah, keeping that value of property in your car, especially while you're in the gym, is idiotic. She doesn't deserve to be robbed, but she sure made it easy.

Being a "dull normal" myself, I just find it somewhat obscene that a person could behave that way.

If you ahve such a disregard for valuables and the money it takes to acquire them then instead of throwing dollar bills in a trash can try donating some of it to food hampers and medical bill funds.

Just imagine what $40k in quality groceries could do in a local neighbourhood of struggling families or the impact to children who are eating poorly?

I know this is a football forum, but I have always hoped that the players we support with fanaticism would at the very least reciprocate with their effort and intelligence.
I'm sure Dak gives back plenty...if only for the tax deduction.
