There’s going to be a Dak thread (or five) so it might as well be this one.

Dak had a terrific game tonight.

His touch on those mid to deep balls was the best we’ve seen from him since 2023.

And the three terrific non box scores situations were great

  • Broke out of a sack that would have ended a scoring drive
  • Ran a perfect 2 minute offense going 53 yards in 51 seconds to get a field goal
  • Touchdown saving tackle after a fumble
I don’t usually make a lot of excuses for Dak, but tonight he did everything he could and some of his teammates simply didn’t.

I also liked Schottenheimer game
  • Great clock management
  • Few penalties
  • Trusted his QB when he was throwing it with precision and called the right plays especially down the stretch.

If anyone finds a way to blame Dak tonight, I don't know what to say. Sure there were a few throws he would probably want to have back, but the drops were just a killer.

this is why you need a game in preseason. they needed to work out the timing in a game situation with other people firing bullets at you. came out like this last year. but i have to say they were light years better this year than last year under mccarthy

Dak played a monster of a game. This loss isn't on him. Sanders holds onto the ball and/or Lamb catches one of the three drops, this game is probably a win. And I love Schotty's clock management. What a difference that will be in the long run!!

Little more touch on that pass to CD, and CD walk into the endzone.
