I'm surprised no one seems to be talking about it affecting his game.

Dak played soooo bad that I cant believe that, thats the result of missing a couple of weeks - no way.

IMO I think he's afraid to push off that calf - his body language tells me he's tentative - you can see it in some of his throws.

Would love to know if he went "full speed" in practice and how he looked cause if he looked anything like he did today - they should have held him out one more week.

  1. I think he looked tentative.
  2. I also noticed that Cooper and Lamb looked slow compared to normal. They slowed down on routes and defenders were uncharacteristically jumping routes.
  3. The O-line was collapsing quickly.
  4. The timing was off from a combination of of all three items listed.
  5. The line was not creating running lanes.
  6. Zeke looked hobbled.
  7. Diggs looked like he was playing slower.
  8. Dak also used garbage time to work on timing. Moore, Dak and Big Mike will have this fixed.
  9. There is plenty of game tape for each player to watch to see where they can improve. This should be a humbling defeat for a team that was soaring among the top teams in the NFL.
  10. Go Dallas!!! Also, my fingers are crossed for Tyron to be a full go.

100% agree.

Had we not had those last 2 TD drives, I would agree. But I think the issue was the lack of time of possession never let him get the rust off. Look at the time of the drives.

Drive 1 - 1:26 - 8 Yards
Drive 2 - 3:48 - 58 Yards
Drive 3 - 1:48 - 20 Yards
Drive 4 - 1:25 - 20 Yards
Drive 5 - 2:02 - 8 Yards
Drive 6 - 1:21 - 9 Yards
Drive 7 - 0:55 - 4 Yards

The only good drive of the game until the end was that 2nd drive (which we should have kicked a FG). Not making excuses for him. He played poorly. But the TOP was completely lopsided.

Dak looked scared. Over throw 2 easy TD passes. And never saw the open receivers all day. We would have won if Rush played. They though throwing him back in would be good enough…. If you ran up the middle behind Martin all game we win.

I'm sure it affect him but that doesn't explain Pollard and Cooper's drops and Lamb slowing down at the end on the first big bomb pass.

Had nothing to do with injury. He simply stunk. Just like Amari and Lamb sucked…it wasn’t their injuries.

I agree, nothing to do with the injury. He was just sleep walking today just like the rest of the team. Not focused at all, the drops by Pollard and Cooper are evidence of it too. Even KM did a bad job on play selection in the first few drives that gave Denver the momentum and spiraled this team downward. Just chalk it up as a stinker like most teams have and try to get another winning streak going.

Nope this was mental not physicals he was off in fog , seem to me his grandma passing , his injury's and whatever triggered his depression issues..he just never seemed into the game..going through the motions type deal..hopefully those garbage scores got him back awake and comes through the rest of the season..

no way hes inured enough to not push off and throw correctly..

sorry lets not make excuses no one here wanted rush 2 weeks in row had cow prescott missed last week..he looked fine to melast week..so??

he was off period, end of story..

Yeah since it was a collective effort I’m less worried. Just a stinker. It happens.
