lol.
The defense was the overwhelming reason why the Green Bay playoff game ended in a loss. I don't blame Prescott. He did a great job in the comeback and during the season.
However, no team, no matter the sport, should seek postseason success without improving their odds for success as much as possible. It's true. Neither Romo nor Prescott may have ultimately made a difference versus Green Bay. Yet, no team has ever won an NFL championship with a rookie quarterback. Never. 1940? Nope. 1965? Uh uh. 1991? Nah. Doesn't matter. Insert any season. Same thing.
Maybe the odds would have improved going with experience as little as only a percentage point. Or half a percentage point. Or one hundredth of a percentage point. (Where's Jim Carrey/Dumb & Dumber pic when you need one lol?) Who knows? All anyone knows for certain is that the Dallas Cowboys entered the 2016 postseason banking on winning it all in a way that has never happened before. Meh. There's a first time for everything. Atlanta choked worse that any team ever in the NFL postseason so there's that I suppose...
