I'd rather not hear from Dak in the offseason. I get the feeling he's getting a little too comfortable in his position and that whole sophomore thing is going to rear it's ugly head. That would suck so much considering I fully expect Romo to be one focused dude this year with the Texans.

Were you in the camp Romo should never play golf or wear his hat backwards too?
I'm in the camp were they should have gone farther than they did last year. They blew a chance they may not see again soon. It was stupid to try and make a playoff run with a rookie and you saw what happened. He had opportunities in the Green Bay game and didn't capitalize. I hold him to the same standard I held Romo. Another failed year has no bright side. He needs to do better this year than last, period.

And why is he in camouflage? Ask yourself that. What's he hiding? .

So when Wentz dresses like that he's hunter. Why? Fluorescent vest and Elmer Fudd hat? I don't think so. You are playing the race card I think.

They shouldn't have gone with the guy that tied Aaron Rodgers at the end of the game? Romo doesn't play defense, so he wouldn't have done anything differently.

Now it is "they? Dak was a rookie and IMO did great. Let's see how he does coming in as a vet and the established leader of the team. As for the playoff game, not sure Tony would have done better. Like in the previous playoff loses that Romo played well in, the defense came up short.

lol.

The defense was the overwhelming reason why the Green Bay playoff game ended in a loss. I don't blame Prescott. He did a great job in the comeback and during the season.

However, no team, no matter the sport, should seek postseason success without improving their odds for success as much as possible. It's true. Neither Romo nor Prescott may have ultimately made a difference versus Green Bay. Yet, no team has ever won an NFL championship with a rookie quarterback. Never. 1940? Nope. 1965? Uh uh. 1991? Nah. Doesn't matter. Insert any season. Same thing.

Maybe the odds would have improved going with experience as little as only a percentage point. Or half a percentage point. Or one hundredth of a percentage point. (Where's Jim Carrey/Dumb & Dumber pic when you need one lol?) Who knows? All anyone knows for certain is that the Dallas Cowboys entered the 2016 postseason banking on winning it all in a way that has never happened before. Meh. There's a first time for everything. Atlanta choked worse that any team ever in the NFL postseason so there's that I suppose...

He probably would have seen that corner jumping the quick screen that got picked and hit the receiver as he ran free up the field. But I guess we'll never know.
