1st off if you know me, you know I have been highly critical of Dak ( note: My eyes know what they see) So all criticism has been justified. With that being said. Here's what I've seen this pass week.

In his press conference, he made reference to taking the 2 minute drill in practice. He really savors this. He's the of 2 minutes. He comes alive and passes become pin point .The adrenaline clears his mind and he plays in the moment with a hunger and a passion unmatched or seen since Joe Montana.

Why can't he play at that level all game? Because you can't fake the fight or flight situation. When the pressures turned up Dak delivers. The playoffs are a pressure cooker and Dak will show up for 4 Quarters.

Gallup Jarwin Cooper Beasley. All peeking all weapons in their own right.

Dak will not be the weak link. It'll be if the opposing QB is mobile. Every loss has come to a QB that was able to avoid the initial pass rush even if it were just to side step and buy time.

Against Seattle I think the Cowboys should play 4-3 with a Spy on Russell. Have DE's play more contain and blitz Jaylon have him chase Wilson all game long. Right into the waiting hands of Tank and Gregory. Our Secondary can handle their WR's

I expect big things from #21 in the playoffs he’s a Purebred

The playoff game will be won by which team controls the trenches. Therefore giving their teams QB time to make the plays, open up or shut down the running game.

The reason Dak is so good in the 2 minute drill is that the Defense does not have time to play games. They have to line up and play. Daks biggest issue besides his footwork is his ability to read a defense. In the 2 minute drill it is pretty basic D without a lot of shifting and hiding coverage etc. In that environment, Dak is more comfortable because he can see what the D is doing before snap. If we could talk the other team into playing pretty basic D all game, Dak would be awesome. I do not like running the hurry up because it can put a lot of pressure on D if you are not successful, but I think it is our best chance in the playoffs.

I thought this thread was going to go in a different direction.

Thank gawd..

Go on, don’t be shy. My six year old son wants to know more about what you were going to say.

I read it three times to make certain I did not misinterpret what had been typed. Afterwards, my reaction was still

Dak had a good game against GB in 2016. GB got one more drive than we did. That put them over the top.

The game was a massive coaching failure. Marinelli got pantsed in the first half, unprepared for hurry up from Rogers, despite Rogers being known for it. Then it's Garrett and clock management.

Yes. I agree. I've thought all season that while you can't run a two minute drill all game you can occasionally run up tempo no huddle and the Cowboys should have been incorporating that into the offense when Prescott's really stinking up the joint.

He does have a clutch gene and he does play better up tempo.
