The last time we had a late season bye was last year week 11...we played and beat NYG at NY the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

Hopefully it works out the same way this year.

Dallas has 3 wins in a row against the Giants right now. Dallas hasn't beaten New York 4 times in a row in the Romo era. Hopefully that changes Sunday, but at this point, I'd call it more than a coincidence considering we can go back to 2006 for this sample.

I have a bad feeling about New York and Chicago. That and the Cowboys are 1-3 coming out of the bye the past 4 seasons, so I'm fearing a disappointment on the way.

Ah yes someone had to drop the stupid 'trap game' at some point. This is not a trap game. This late in the season with what is at stake and against a division rival is not a trap game. Not even close actually. The Skins game wasn't a trap game either we just didn't play. I hate when people label every game against a lesser opponent as a trap game.

I agree about the Commanders...just some unfortunate circumstances regarding Romo. A rivalry game is never a trap game. If Dallas does not realize the importance of division games, then it might not even make the playoffs. Indeed, another division loss will imperil their chances of controlling their own destiny from the standpoint of HFA in the playoffs...heck, even making the playoffs altogether in some scenarios. They can't afford to be looking past ANYBODY!

I don't expect the Giants to lay down, although I think there may be some residual indecisiveness on the part of Manning. You never know though. Hopefully, the d-line can put on more pressure this time. They seem to be arriving as a group lately. Unless the Cowboys get turnovers early, this will probably be closer than the last match-up. Judging by fan revolt, the consensus was that they should have started carpet-bombing the Dallas secondary from the first possession and forget about the stinkin' run game. He was pretty clean the last time he faced Dallas, but a multi-interception game and this could get away from them, because the Dallas offense is much more deadly than the red-zone challenged unit from San Francisco.
