Dallas +3 vs Colts

Not surprising the Colts are -3 at home. They are 6-1 the last 7 weeks and are rolling. Their defense is playing good ball and Luck and slinging the rock.

Fantasy playoffs this week for me in the semi's. I have Luck going against the Cowboys and Im not sure Im liking the matchup.

I could pick up Bills QB or Trubinsky. Thoughts?

I'm telling you guys we walk away from the Colts in this game. Easy win.

They throw a lot to the TE.
Ebron was always supposed to break out and be a star, but he never did in Detroit. He sure has this year, though, with 12(!) TDs to go with what will very soon be career highs in receptions and yards. Hilton is the outside and deep threat; Ebron is the red zone threat.

Colts are stout, especially that defensive front.

My biggest worry is that nobody is talking about this game. The is going to be tougher than Philly.

This game is almost certainly going to end up being meaningless.

I am hoping the cowboys sign Cook from the Raiders in the offseason. Check off that hole without having to use a high pick. Take a safety with the 2nd pick this year.

If Dallas wins, they clinch the division this week. How is that meaningless?

Because Washington and Philly are both expected to lose this week, which would also clinch the division. Even if they don’t, we have to lose out to lose the division and have two 5-8 teams following the Colts.

Additionally, the Indy game is irrelevant when it comes to catching Chicago due to the way inter divisional conference tiebreakers work.

This game is as close to meaningless as you can get without either being mathematically eliminated or locked into the #1 seed.

It's not irrelevant if you'd actually like to pass Chicago and take the tie-breaker out of the equation.

Didn't the Cowboys destroy Luck and the Colts last time? If I remember, we clinched the division that year, could be the same!!
Could also be different. The colts are playing some good ball right now and Luck is doing well. Cowboys better watch out for this team. They are sneaky good. Luck loves the long ball.

Hope the Cowboys aren't looking past this one. They might walk home a loser if they are in that state of mind.

It's irrelevant to the Chicago tiebreaker unless you'd like to actually, you know, tie the Bears.

IS Luck the Luck that came out of college that was threat to run and pass or has he moved into more pocket passer with mobility? I do not watch Colt Games.
He stays in the pocket but he is very good at moving around the pocket to avoid the rush

This game worries me

But I don’t care about that, because tiebreakers do exist and we don’t live in a world where your distinction matters at all.

If we finish 10-6 by beating TB and NY, and Chicago loses 2 of their final 3 games, we clinch the 3 seed. If we finish 11-5 by winning out and Chicago loses 2 of their final 3 games, we clinch the 3 seed. If we win out and Chicago loses 1 of their final 3 games, they win the tiebreaker with both teams at 11-5.

Nope

It’s a fluke in the tiebreaker system. We never win the tiebreaker at 11-5, but always win it at 10-6. The Bears HAVE to lose two more games for us to win the 3 seed.

You're cornered, I understand.

Winning games matters right now. Not sure what about that you can argue with. We're not to a point yet where anything is "meaningless".

Caveat, there’s a very specific scenario that involves about 9 games all going a specific way where we win the tiebreaker with Chicago at 11-5 but it would require multiple huge upsets.

I literally broke down why it doesn’t matter in specific detail.

we lose if we get dak'd as many times as we did last week.
