The Rams have some nice pieces we could use and they need a QB.

Is there anyway you think the Rams would do something like swap us first round picks and give us Quinn and maybe Mason or another pick?

Or maybe Foles as well.

Is something like that possible?

Too much dead money trading Quinn. And I dont think Mason has that much value after 201 5

I think they are an ideal trading partner just based on the fact that they have an extra 2nd round pick. I'd consider our 4th for #15, #43, and Nick Foles.

Foles is total trash. #4 for #15 and #43 and Foles would be mindnumbing.

I'm not a huge foles fan, but he is an upgrade over what we had last season, and Dallas has been linked to him from multiple sources. That fills your backup qb void. Then Take a guy like Noah Spence at #15, and have two picks in the top half of the 2nd round to take best available Dline/RB/WR/DB/LB on your board. William Jackson and Kenny clark maybe? I would be ok with that over just taking a guy like Bosa at 4.

If we aren't going QB at #4 I'd swap 1st rounders and take Quinn, provided he passed a physical. That dead money likely makes that a dream.

A shorter trade down might be possible with the Ravens if Ramsey is there given the recent tragedy (and I don't mean to seem cold thinking in those terms).

Foles has a fairly big cap number as the Rams signed him to a new deal before last season. And he's not very good. His cap number is like $9MM this year and $13MM next year. Hell no.

He'd be actually be worse than Weeden or Cassell because he stinks just like them and would be making much more than either did.

Only we drop that far for 4 is if they give us #15, their 2nd and #1 next season

With those cap numbers I am surprised that he has had any trade rumors swirling. I'd rather have him as a backup than weeden or Cassell from a talent perspective but we are splitting hairs. None of them are leading you to the super bowl.

I'd settle for #15 and then their two #2 picks - #43 and #45 (I think those are their picks) if a QB is not an option at that pick.

Next year's #1 would be better, agreed.

What about Rams #15, a second this year, and next year plus Ethan Westbrooks?

Take Lynch at 15.

I'm not interested in Mason...and Foles would be my third QB...But again I love the school of thought. We have to acquire more picks and get the guys we want from the get go. That way there are no excuses with Garrett or Jones when he's speaking with the media...

We have a history with the Ravens..I don't think the death of the young man will have anything to do with it. The Ravens may want Zeke at 4...they miss the strong running game. I live in Baltimore and hear it each day. But I can't see Ozzie doing a move at #4 for a running back, not really his MO.
