I was hoping wee trade down, not up. Hoping to trade with the Jags if Jack is on the board and get their 2nd and 3rd but at very least their 2nd and 4th.

Pick 32 is "supposedly" worth 590 points and 34 is worth 560................so, basically a Late 5th or 2 Late 6's

Do you see 9 rookies draft pick's making the team? Can't think of the last time our entire draft class made the team. Some don't even go to the PS. To me, if you covet a player and all it takes is a 6th to move up...do it. No way I give up or 3rd or 4th this year.

I think so. We've a lot of holes and aren't active in FA. We've also 2 suspension spots to replace for 4 games. Could easily see rookies in following spots (mainly backups)

WR x 2
TE
RB
DE x 2
DT x 1
SS
FS
CB

has to be for a pass rusher, right? or maybe someone like Michael Thomas? Fuller? Dodd? just hope its not for Jack or Spence, my gut just tells me stay away from those players with so many ?'s...I'll back whoever we pick....just hope we make the right decision.

Spence is the only guy with a legitimate first round grade I would trade up for. I'd love to get Jack, but we are too talent deficient to take a chance on that knee.

I like Spence too, but not over Jack. What is the difference if a guy can't play in future due to injury or off field issues? Jack is the higher rated talent and "time bomb" scenario does not prevent him from playing immediately. I guess I am a glass half full guy, Cowboys are too talent deficient NOT to take a chance on a top 5 talent with the 34th pick. Cowboys have been snagging multiple blue chip talent lately with only ONE first rounder, Jerry loves being recognized for this. And Cowboys have lots of precedence to take a player like Jack in 2nd round.
