If that's the stat line he should be benched. Stop putting one man (Dak) over the team. If he's under performing, he should let the next man up have a shot. Who knows, maybe a benching would actually be good for his development.

There's value in watching and marinating on things a bit. Like, when romo had his press confence he essentially was saying "these guys all work hard and want to win too. I'm beat up and the team is rolling so for now I'm gonna watch and be here for dak".

If the idea is just "dak may be a marginal arm talent and we want to see if the old man has any juice left just in case" then what's the harm in that?

At his age I think you can tell romo "this is just to see if we can use you in a pinch, dak is our guy come playoff time no matter what you do" I think he would embrace that and that's a special team uniting moment.

Its been over two years and mutliple broken backs and collar bones since Romo played like hall of famer ...... and I have no idea who Danovan mcnabb is ........ but Prescott has an 11 game winning streak with more 100+ QB ratings than most people.
