Dallas Calling Columbus, Ohio

Look I don't like the move I think it was boring and safe and while I don't think it's a reach per se this guy was the 32nd player ranking on the board and they picked him at 12 seems high to me maybe they couldn't find a trade down partner I don't know I realize there's a bigger picture here and they're going to develop this picture throughout the draft free agency and these trade rumors I believe there is something to the rumors that may not be Breeze Hall but they plan on In my opinion recreating the 2016 offensive line and I can see them moving Tyler Smith back to left tackle before game one because we have an overabundance of guards now we have guards and centers galore I can't even list them all there's probably 10 of them and hardly any tackles somebody's got to get moved back to tackle..

So as much as this pic felt like a kick in the nads I understand why they did it but the rest of this draft and free agency and what they do with undrafted free agents and a trade here and there probably for a wide receiver are running back we'll know by Tuesday what they really had in mind but again the only thing that makes sense to me is they're going to go into these camps trying to figure out who the best 5 are and it may end up moving Tyler Smith back to left tackle because that's the only reason why would they sign Hoffman and then bring in Jones and then bring in another guard that I can't pronounce his name and then last year drafted Nate Thomas still have bass on this team if they were going to get offensive line in the first round I thought it would be a tackle..

Growing up in Ohio, one of the summer jobs for the DL and OL was bailing hay on local farms. They got paid, and got a work out.
The cotton gin was interesting and paid for a pinto. Welder's pipeline helper brought school funds in the off season as well.

I bet that kid can sling a few hay bales around the flatbed.
Look it's a boring safe pic probably could have got him at 18 but they probably couldn't find a trade partner to go down so they made their move and yes this guy didn't give up a single sack in his college 2024 season only gave up two sacks his whole career I mean this dude I watched him on film he moves pretty good for a big guy so he can pull when needed he can help when needed he gets to his spot but yes he is a big dude that can move people,,

I mean I can see they're just trying to recreate the 2016 offensive line and that's fine they've got the rest of the draft to get wide receivers and running backs and whoever else they have in mind plus I believe they're going to make a trade or two and they undrafted free agents things will develop by Tuesday i'm going to give this some time because it didn't make sense I was pretty disappointed when I heard the name I thought for sure it was going to be a tackle if they went offensive line I mean we have like 12 guards on this team right now and not enough tackles...

I believe they might be considering moving Tyler Smith back to left tackle you put Hoffman at left guard and put Booker at right guard and now maybe you move Gite into right tackle make steel take a pay cut and make him the swing tackle or let them to battle it out for right tackle I mean nothing else makes sense right now..

I was thinking, Guyton, Smith and him playing their natural positions...Guyton to RT, Smith to LT and this kid at LG. Out RT, Steele, at swing tackle or cut.

They might not do that right away but I'm betting they're going to use these camps mini camps otas and the first part of training camp to see how it starts developing and if Geiten just doesn't look good if steals being beat like a drum I think they're going to make this move that's the only thing that makes sense another guard after you went in free agency and brought over two guards you resigned Hoffman you drafted Nate Thomas you brought back Shepley like their old guards and centers I mean this whole thing and they're not flexible these guys are absolutely only interior lineman the only person who has flex would be Tyler Smith and the only person that can be moved from left tackle to right tackle would be Guyton that's the only thing that makes sense...

It might be the backup plan that might not be their plan from day one, but I think that's what they're using as logic like in the end, we could just switch the tackles ..

If anyone disagrees with your post above and had any brains ... he would take them out and would play with both of them.

Get Guyton up to speed and with a baptism of fire and hold an intensely competitive camp at tackle. Maybe sign a veteran to come in at tackle as well.

Quite a few players from Ohio State to call about.

Henderson
Judkins
Denzel Burkes
Jack Sawyer
JT Tui...
Ty Hamilton
Lathan Ransom
Jordan Hancock

Other than the lack of punctuation and grammar other than that I have to agree with you I'm just trying to be pragmatic here I know there must be a bigger picture and I'm willing to see it play out....LOL

Yes I can criticize myself about my run on sentences cause I used talk to text but I'm trying to put out fires here I was pretty angry at the pic as well at first but now that I've slept on it thought about it watched some video trying to get a better understanding of why they did it i'm okay with it..

Two RB's of great value, impact players are both, Henderson -- a home run hitter and Judkins -- like Marion Barber with speed: get ready to run behind Booker the human bulldozer, part of the new interior wall of Caterpillar road graders.
Bears will grab one of the 2 ohio state backs not sure who NE will take. There should be a back there at 44 but Im guessing WR is going to be the pick.
