Dallas Can’t Go All Defense This Draft

Defense should win the similar “tie breaker” when choosing BPA if they have similar grades


We need talent on defense.... the offense showed last year it can score at anytime (when everyone is there)

the defense showed ANYONE could score on them when they wanted too. They don’t need to be the early 00s ravens but it would be nice to at least hold the other team to 20points or less

More depth on the OL, particularly with starter potential, and a 3rd WR to eventually replace Gallup should be strongly considered

I'd be ecstatic with Pitts at 10...he lets us not worry much about Gallup leaving next off season.
If he's BPA by a large margin you take him and don't look back.

I think we can get a RB as a UDFA . Guys like Wesley Kennedy ( Georgia Southern) or Jaquan Hardy( Tiffin) should be there. Both scatbacks that can fly.

we got that in Pollard. I’m thinking a guy that can handle 20+ carries a game. If Zeke gets hurt or if he keeps fumbling.

There are always RBs. They don't have to be great just move the chains. I think Chiefs let go Damien Williams ? No reason to sweat it. Pollard & Dowdle can fill in

When we had ware spencer Newman James and Ratliff. And had Kitna, a old MB3, hammy Austin, wr Roy Williams and trash on the OL.

This year will be important the UDFA class, add some talent rbs or wrs

4 offensive picks at the most. They could use a OT, OG, QB n WR. They looked at Hill, but Dowdle was decent and RBs are everywhere.

The depth on defense needs to be restocked, so that should be priority over offense. You already have adequate backups at nearly every position on Offense

I agree we can’t go too heavy on defense. You’ve got 2 injury prone and aging OTs, an aging pro bowl G, aging RB showing signs of decline, a bit of an unknown at C, a free agent to be at LG, and your likely to lose gallop or cooper next year. This offense could be in bad shape quicker than we think if we ignore that side of the ball.

I think you're right about Pitts. I don't think Waddle comes into the conversation at all @10. He wouldn't even be BPA there. Pitts is a very strong possibility though.

IMO you can't take Waddle but Pitts is very takable as is Slater
