Dallas Cowboy Defense

I May be stating the obvious !

But something that should not be overlooked

The Cowboys defense has held Tom Brady & the Bucs O to 19 points and Joe Burrow and his 3 headed monster to 17 points --- Say what you will but That's IMPRESSIVE

This D creates pressure, is young & fast, they fly to the ball, always seems to be in position, and tackle -- make no mistake Dan Quinn , Micah, Diggs and company have changed the Defensive Culture here and it is so fun to watch !

The Turnovers have not been there yet BUT consider the Qb Competition we have faced. Then remember the look on both Brady and Burrows face after feeling this front and in particular Micah breathing down their throat !

I feel turnovers will be there once lesser caliber Qb's face this D. If we can manage to get 7-10 points a game directly because of the Defense ( that can be from direct Td's off a turnover or points directly because of due to amazing Field position ) add that to 10-17 points from the Offense we can win some games !

After watching this defense the last 2 games, i feel very confident when they are on the field and that is such a difference that hasn't been felt in a long time !

Now If we can just

Clean up some bad penalties, get Gallup, Kearse, and a few others back, be a little more efficient on O and grind out some drives and clock ---- Bonus if turpin can get us a couple of short fields a game , We can be in alot of games ..

Gonna be a fun Cowboys Coaster Ride watching this D terrorize Qb's

We may be looking into this defense a little too much. It’s good, but it’s not great, so let’s not go there yet. The Saints also held Brady to 20. Steelers held the Bengals to 20 points. We haven’t accomplished anything out of the ordinary just yet. While I see the potential, we all know things tend to go wrong in Cowboys football.

Let’s not forget how we might have one of the top 5 most anemic NFL offenses (without Rush).

It's preseason for most starters. In the next couple weeks teams will get into the rhythm and we'll get a better idea about how the season is going to shake out.

Don't say that to undercut what the defense has done just to encourage patience til we have more information.

Basham playing more than Fowler or Sam was mindboggling considering he barely made the 53.

DQ can be weird sometimes.

Not a fan of Gholston dropping into coverage either.

Then explain playing Basham so much more over the less effective Basham vs Bucs then Mike???

All I know is the D had a chance to fold late in the game and I half expected them to but they stiffened up and got the ball back for the O.
