Much of the work at The Star in Frisco has focused on the public elements, including the Cowboys' headquarters, seen under construction in April. Work will begin this month on the adjoining entertainment district.

Construction will start this month on the entertainment district that will serve as the gateway to the Dallas Cowboys’ new training facility in Frisco.

Much of the work this past year at the site known as The Star in Frisco has focused on the public portion of the project — an indoor stadium, an underground parking garage and two outdoor practice fields — along with the team’s new headquarters building.

The private development piece is just getting started as part of this joint effort among the Cowboys, the city of Frisco and Frisco ISD. Despite some setbacks from the rainy weather, crews are putting in extra hours to meet the June 2016 opening date for the main attraction.

What's the value of Jerry's North Texas real estate holdings?

Was the area before undeveloped (natural land, trees, nature, etc) or are they replacing already developed land? Just curious.

why didnt the concrete pump just drive round the other side?

Around the other side is still 2 stories up and the hose would still have to be extended.

Must've have been easier to leave the pump truck and the mixers on that side.

Gonna be really nice for fans to be able to see camp

I completely understand being in Texas and wanting to see training camp. However, I sincerely hope that they always split time in Oxnard. I think the weather helps the players, I think its great for the fan base and I think being away from Dallas as a team and organization helps bond each other.

But then I hope they go back to Texas for the final two weeks.
