What is the most exciting thing for you this season?

Mine is to see if the Cowboys FINALLY have a QB for the future...

Then the Boyz will surely have something to build around.

i mean he got all those sacks while missing four games, they never say that it is because he was on roids or anythinig

Well, I can think of one QB that will not stay out there for the LONG day! He will fake his usual injury...then go sit on his fat coach's lap and get his little ears (well his big ears) rubbed and his diaper changed!

For me, there's no doubt that it is seeing the new defense. Watching our DE's actually go for the QB or the ball carrier will be very nice. Seeing Ware and Spencer come after the QB while maybe Roy Williams comes up the middle, will be great.

I've wanted for so long for us to be an aggressive defense and I'm so ready for it, that I swear I'm not going to complain when we give up big plays. I'm so ready that I'm prepared to see some 60 yard TD runs and some big passes as long as I see some creative blitzes and some stops behind the line.

Disrupt. Dictate the flow. Pressure. Confuse. Zone blitz. Overload. We have been too long without these things.

I agree with 5stars... It is going to be very interesting seeing if he can rise to the occasion. I think he's going to need some time to adapt to the new system. I'm only a little disappointed that more people on this board arean't a little more 'excited'.

And because of the reasons you've nicely articulated in this post, I am going to be excited to watch both sides of the ball. I've always been a fan of good defense, but I think this years' defense should be one of the more interesting ones that we've had as Cowboys fans; whether it be good or bad. Note that I say only 'interesting'.

I too look forward to this new defensive scheme. I, for some odd reason been an offensive guy, but lately with the young overall talent on this D (most are 7 yrs and younger), I look forward to the defensive stats that will come from them. Sacks, INT, F. Fumbles, DFensive TDs, and oh, QB knock outs. I need at least three of them. Manning, Campbell and definitely Mc..whatever his name.

Opening Night because it will be my first game ever at Texas Stadium and it's against the Gnats.

I am so hyped for this game I'm almost embarassed by how jazzed I am about finally after 40 years of being a fan I get to finally go see them in the house that Landry Built.

I've been to several Cowboys games. They have all been away games. Philly, Cleveland, Buffalo, Giants Stadium etc. But going to what would be considered "Our Mecca" well, like I said, I can't wait.

There is NO Way that I am NOT taking pics of this trip. I'm going with the Dall Cowboys Corral Travel. They have a great deal and they some of the players, old and new do signings plus we will do the stadium tour as well. Every moment caught on pics and tape.
