You have to like Dowdle, but he’s still just a guy. There is not a single threat on the field outside of Lamb. The defense has only 1 player to defend. The OL is putrid and getting worse. Zack Martin is having a horrible year. False starts, holding, missed blocks. Add in forced desperate throws that are bad decisions, and this offense has no chance. The defense will get better if and when players return from injury. Thanks to Jerry, no one is coming to help the Cowboys offense except maybe Cook. McCarthy throwing his iPad after rewatching the first 4th down call shows he is as frustrated as the rest of us.

They had a good play call so makes sense to try to take advantage of the defense. They just didn’t execute.
