It's about a player playing the position. One player had folks trying to elevate mediocre to crappy play to elite status. Then an organization giving him a crippling contract. The defenders saying we'd be lucky to ever win a game without him and how Rush's previous record meant nothing, etc..

If folks get real about #4's level of play vs his backup, we can start having realistic conversations.

We desperately need another explosive wr who can make plays.
We also need another young RB to go with Dowdle.
We probably need a RT if they decide Steele won’t return well enough to earn his salary.
We need another DT, another inside LB, and general depth.
Id love to take a young developmental QB with lots of college experience.

We don’t have it at WR or inside LB, DT, and we need a RB, even if we resign Dowdle.
We have a ton of free agents, some on IR. My number 1 thing is the need for explosiveness at #2 WR.
