DQ came in here and finally wiped away all that bend but don't break, Rod Marinelli ********. He completely overhauled this defense and turned it into a strength. And he's not perfect, obviously, but at least we had something we were good at--getting the QB and turning the ball over.

And now we've decided, yes, let's go back to the boring, rush 4, never blitz, lose the game on a 45 yd bomb vs. your zone defense.

It's pretty simple. Teams like Philly, KC, GB ect have a far better shot to make the SB than the Cowboys. The Cowboys might barley make the playoffs. If the Cowboys were a team favored to win or make the SB I could see your point, but a team that has nothing to lose and looking to the future should be playing it's unknowns more (rookies like Blue).

If they don't play Blue then it was a wasted pick.
