Wow...a bit off-topic: Our run game betta be good. Pollard just got 54 yards in one drive and scored on a 20+ yard run.

I fear we have 4 running backs...which all have one great quality but none of them are "it".

guys, we actin like Zimmer is the great and powerful Wizard of Oz lol. Yall don't remember how we couldn't wait to chase his arse to Minny from Dallas a few years ago? Know why? Teams figured him out and our players at the time didn't enjoy playing for him. MANY here were glad to see him get hired as HC in Minnesota. I was on the old message board and I recall this topic. NOW we all the sudden believe he's the answer/fix? Color me skeptical. This feels like a 1 year ride and band aid.

I remember that as well. The whole GROZ movement was a hot topic. His bend but don’t break defense was not my favorite.

I have this horrible feeling that if McCarthy is gone at the end of this year that Zim is our next coach. I hope I’m wrong, but it would fall right into JJ’s comfort zone.

How is this defense revamped, though? Did nothing to really address our glaring issues to stop the run. Picked up scraps to fill holes at DT. Brought in a re-tread defensive coordinator. It will be the same as last year which is they can eat against terrible teams i.e. Giants, Washington but when they play good offenses, they get bullied.

More beef up front even though they are retreads they probably are better than what we had
