People can point fingers if they want to but this just tells me they aren't a playoff team.

It amazes me that people convinced themselves it was.

The defense is incredibly porous, and the offense still has some gelling to do.

All of these things have been true since before the season.

Fans get caught up in the hype and then feel let down when reality sets in.

This is a rebuild year and it always was

Exactly. You're going down in a ball of flames anyway, at least mix it up, try different players, blitz, do whatever possible to inject some kind of heartbeat into this thing.......because what he is doing is clearly not working.

Offense is having to force things to stay in it. Everyone says they need an average defense, but they are so far away from average. One player won’t make them even average. The defense is historically bad.

My only surprise is the NFLs "Top offense just scoring only 1 TD the entire 1st half.......and just 1 TD in the entire 2nd half of the Panthers game.

Yes, we literally have to score on every possession. But we only needed a FG there.

A field goal won't mean crap with this defense.

Can we stop talking about the playoffs now?
We have a defense that cannot stop the run, cannot pressure the QB, and we are playing a secondary where the slot corner is the only projected starter on the field.
We have a team that cannot stop grind in the run game, a QB and receivers who can produce, but our center is currently an undersized backup, and both of our OTs struggle in pass protection.

If we hover around .500 all season, that will be a pretty amazing accomplishment considering how bad this defense is.

BTW, I’m already laughing at the fans who are watching this game and choosing to attack the QB. Too funny, like he didn’t play well versus some stout defenses in Philly, Washington, GB, and Carolina.

10?!? This defense gives up 30+ a game. Thats not sustainable for any offense/team period.

Remember this high powered offense scored 10 points in the first half. This offense looks great against bad or injured defense. The Cowboys defense is just bad against every team.

Broncos have the #3 defense? Dallas wasnt going to put up 40 on them. The defense is literally the worst in the NFL.

Yes, but Turpin is the 4th option. By the time Dak finishes looking past CeeDee, Pickens and Flournoy, the Broncos D is all over Dak.

If we had at least another Turpin (someone like Silas Bolden who is available right now), both Bolden and Turpin could constantly get open early underneath while allowing CeeDee and Pickens to go mid and deep.

The problem is this coaching staff is too dumb.

A win today and they would still be behind three or four teams just for the last wild card.
