I still can’t believe on the road in must win game down 11 on a 4th and short they kicked a fg especially with how horrible the defense has been. When you coach to lose you lose
We weren't going to make the 4th down with the way the game is going. It was the right call to take the 3. You guys need to get over the analytics fad.

Defense is going to have to throw a shut-out again for the 2nd half. Team just isn't disciplined at times. Schotty can't seem to find a way for them to get out early. Just as with McCarthy. I say. We can't expect help from the sidelines at all.

Schotty is coaching scared calling a bunch of rollouts and screen passes.

Letting the Lions defense dictate things to him.

The Lions just missed a throw that should have gotten them 4 more points.
Goff isn't a great QB or constantly defended as being better than he really is. Isn't Dak supposed to be a better QB than Goff?

So what's your point?

Freaking team self imploding there in the 2nd quarter. Not sure what happened. But feels a lot like that frontrunner team again that finishes seasons like that.

Lions just look better, scoreboard and the eye test
We've shot ourselves in the foot half a dozen times and special teams has screwed us repeatedly. Turpin finally gets a good return and once again another penalty.

But, the defense not being able to hold with 30 seconds left is pathetic.

We really have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Why aren’t we more aggressive. Detroit wants this game more.
Because aggressive isn't automatically better. What needs to happen is we need to play better.

I got faith that we can turn it around in the second half.
