our secondary looks like D2 players

They've mainly gone for isolations against anybody but Bland. It's how I'd attack this D. Pressure has helped teams not be able to do it, especially downfield, but Detroit is going for a lot of quick, short routes against those DBs.

I'm not sure Diggs would have helped, but I would have liked to have at least seen if he could.
