As I say..... it's up to the individual. Some would say 6-8 crosses into territory we can deem elite. Because that's 1-3 spots away from being Top 5.

If Allen isn't elite, nobody is. And yes, I would agree Josh has failed in the playoffs....last 2 times against the Chiefs. And especially last year with Jackson, Burrow, and Mahomes out.... he still couldn't get past the Broncos. So maybe just maybe playoffs isn't the sole component of the elite argument. Dak has had playoff failures, but one could also say he's been let down by his organization (which is an awful one) and he's probably the finest example of that. Besides Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers, in terms of most recent examples.

The thing is, Dak's organization has done the most for their QB than any other in the NFL. There is a real argument that Allen has fewer weapons than Dak has, and it's pretty valid to say that. Dak does his job very well, but he scares nobody when the game matters most, and doesn't have the Superman ability that Allen has. As well, the Bills organization also has a major issue on the defensive side of the ball, and it's fair to say that is not only what has failed Dak, it has also failed Josh.

With 2 minutes left in the game and the ball in your territory, there is not 1 person with a pulse in the world who wouldn't want Josh as their QB over Dak....and that is not a knock on Dak at all; he's in that next group of QB's I want leading my team

I suck at math, but I can tell that only putting 16 points on the board is NOT top 5. It also provides no reason to blame your defense for the offensive failures.

Is it really that difficult for you to be reasonable and accept other opinions?

Unfortunately, all our guys look like they’re never made a sack in their career.

I’m afraid with our mash unit secondary and lack of pass rush, Love is going to have a big night.

The offense is probably going to need another 30 point game, which is a ridiculous expectation week in week out.

I think we get there constantly, we just don’t keep lane assignments, and it turns into chaos and the quarterback escapes

I'm in favor of 11 man blitzes.

Give up a few scores but starting QB fakes injury after a few snaps to keep from getting pummeled.

Look, I know that was funny. Sarcastic, but. I do think they need to manufacture pressure and bring blitzes from everywhere, do what Tampa Bay did to us. To everybody going forward until they get this figured out. I mean, you don't need to blitz on every down, but you can up your blitz rate about 20 more percent. I mean, it doesn't seem to be blitzing very often. Bring Downs back into the box and let him do some work. He's in coverage too much on the back end, like he's playing true safety. That's not what we drafted him for, and I realize there's a lot of injuries. But he's the kind of guy that you can bring off. The edge or down through the middle I mean. He's a weapon that you have disappearing on the back end that's getting beat anyway. And the other guys are not covering maybe with JPJ back there. And as soon as we get healthier, we can. Get back to normal, but I'm all for more blitz.

We’re not. We don’t have one defensive lineman performing at even an average level.

Jerry and Stephen’s pass rush by committee promise 14 months ago has proven to be the absolute bust that some of us predicted.

Years of bad defensive drafts and poor free agency is showing on the field.
