Fangio’a scheme works because his front 4 get pressure. The year they won the SB, they were last in blitz rate, only 19%. That was much lower than the NFL average. Carter and Williams generated pressure with a bunch of stunts and twists, while their secondary was extremely discipline.

we traded away a HOF trajectory pass rusher too, because of Jerry’s ego and him being petulant about Micah wanting to use a agent (like 99% of the rest of the freakin league does). Totally not worth it so far. We needed a HOF level performer for it to be worth it.
