They weren't REALLY in FG range, so by the looks of it, the penalty was intentional to give the punter a little more room.

Considering the Jags are starting inside their own 10, I say it was a good call. JMHO.

I'm a huge Dak fan but his refusal to run when there's wide open lanes drives me NUTS

I don't think those lanes are as wide open as you think. I thought he would have been tackled short if he decided to run on third down. Lane close super quick in the NFL.
